Great Antenna
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As a new cord cutter, I found this antenna at Best Buy. I took it home and tried it out hooked up inside and got 30 channels. I was amazed when I hooked it up outside and got 70 channels. WOW!!! It even withstood the wind and rain of Hurricane Irma as it blew through Atlanta. I will buy another for a family member becoming a cord cutter.

Reception proved better than higher priced version
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I compared the Clearstream 2max to the TERK indoor plate and Clearstream 4max. The Clearstream 2 max was much better at picking up signals compared to the TERK. I found no difference in tv reception between the Clearstream 2max and 4max. I tested the antennas within my house. I plan on testing it outside once the weather improves. Almost all the tv stations are UHF and only one is VHF. The towers are 20 to 30 miles south of me. The VHF is north of me. Give this one a shot. It is not much bigger than the Terk and picked up more stations.

I use it in doors in a apartment/ EXCELLENT
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I live at 89701 in Carson City and now get all of the RENO TV stations. It's not in my window and doses great. This is cheaper than paying for cable services. I am pleased with this.

Love it, lots of channels
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Hooked this up in the attic with a splitter for 2 tv’s (over the 2nd floor). After rescanning I receive 70 channels dtv-air plus I receive 42 tv-plus channels on both tv’s. I am able to receive VHF and UHF, very impressed. I’m approx 35 miles from towers and they are pretty much in the same line of sight. I used a compass to make sure I am pointing towards the towers. Initially cable company was hooked up to smart tv so I had to reset tv programming after I unplugged the cable box. Very happy with this purchase.

Connection broke
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wire connection to antenna wore out --disconnected broke. I had to point outside unmounted antenna to get specific stations. Weather consistently caused interference. Most neighbors mount satellite dish on roof. 35- 50? miles from San Antonio. 50 miles from Austin, but no Austin stations with this antenna. Neighbor replaced the 4-circle model with a dish-shaped antenna.

Antenna works great
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Tried rabbit ears, and the pads, and now this one. This works great. I now get all the local channels crystal clear. You get what you pay for and this one is not cheap but it works perfectly.

No complaints here!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I decided to go this route after my cable service raised my rates yet again! I tried the slim line models but wasn't happy. This antennae gives me all the channels I wanted in HD! Between this an Hulu I am good to go with no more high cable TV bills! You will not find a better product at a better price!

It's like meh at best.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I typically like the antennas I get from ANTENNAS DIRECT, but compared to the others I've had by them, this one is just so mediocre. I guess if it's ever on sale for $50 or less it would be an okay buy, but it's an exclusive model at Best Buy and I've never seen it below $69.99. And for roughly $70 there's tons of excellent options for antennas. They make a model that's essentially the same as this except it has 2 of the figure 8 style loops instead of 1 and it makes a world of difference. It may be considerably more pricey, but it's worth it. This? It's about a tenth as good as it's big brother, sorta speak, even though it's only half as big. Get the twin loop option if you can afford it or simply get a different antenna altogether.

Better outdoors than in.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i live in a double wide with metal roof. I tried this indoors and got poor reception. I then moved it outside on the east side of home, Reception better but not great. I would lose CBS when I opened refrigerator door. I then moved to a post 5 feet from house and aimed directly to antenna using an antenna location app on my cell phone. This worked great, I aimed once, got great reception, no more cutoffs. I live in rural area, 36-40 miles from broadcast towers.

Great Antenna
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this antenna because the one I bought from Amazon "GE Attic Mount TV Antenna" keeps losing signals and it's driving me nuts. The ClearStream is way better. A lot more channels, no more choppy images. I am so glad I bought this antenna. Works great with HDHomeRun and Plex.

great when it was new
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.installed this antenna and was very happy. It received all the ota channels i expected to receive in my area. But now 10 months later I have lost most channels and even the strong channels are tiling. I would expect a outdoor antenna to last longer than this. I should not have to buy a new antenna every year

Great buy!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After finally cutting cable and going with streaming only, realized almost no local (Chicago) channels were available. Purchased and connected this antenna to 55" smart tv in ground-level living room. Sits on a table pointing toward downtown. Wow! Found +80 channels. Excellent reception, including notoriously bad Channel 2. Some of the UHF channels, broadcasting out of NW Indiana, are glitchy on windy days or when planes passing over. Otherwise, very happy with the Clearstream 2max. Plan to move antenna up to attic, hook to amplified splitter, and connect to the 4 other tv's in the house. Had some experience with flat antennas, including "amplified" ones, and was disappointed with their glitchy reception, especially with VHF channels 2 and 11. The higher price far outweighs the frustration I experienced with the cheaper flat ones.

Works with a splitter to 2 TVs. A bit expensive.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I live in a distant suburb and this pulls in stations well. I installed it outdoors on a piece of 3/4" pipe driven into the ground next to the house to serve as a mast. Antenna is about 6' off the ground. After the main line runs into the house, a splitter was installed so 2 TVs could be connected. Total run of wire to the most distant TV is about 50'. I like that the antenna is compact and not too obvious outside. That said, the build quality seems a bit cheap for what you pay. The mounting hardware provided works but seems a bit flimsy. I'm also not sure how well all the plastic casing will hold up in the sun over the next few years, but it works well for now.

My $15 40 mile antenna out performed this
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very disappointed. I bought a cheap $15 antenna that picked up 10 channels in the Atlanta area. I bought this to hopefully pick up a few more channels. This being 4x as expensive I figured it should at least pick up a few more channels than my existing one. Nope...I placed this in the same location as my other antenna (tried many other locations as well) and the best it could do was 6 channels. Will be returning this....too bad, I had high hopes this would be better or at min pick up the same channels with stronger signal strength.

Posted .We hope that you scanned for TV channels whenever you moved the antenna to each new location. The TV tuner locks in on the stations, so if you do not scan for channels each time, you will see the same results. If you need any assistance, please give us a call at 877-825-5572 or chat with us online at antennasdirect.com.

Great reception.
