    SEARCHING FOR RECEPTION

If you don't have cable, you are limited to what you can watch without an antenna. I called up to ask for suggestions re: an antenae. Our Moku had stopped working so the service man suggested I try the Clearstream for stronger reception. It can go either inside / out. But I haven't tested it outside as my axial cable isn't long enough. The antena will not work inside the cabinet so it must be set on the floor. It 's large and obtrusive. I don't why the number of channels would be less than what I had with the other antenna.

I was skeptical but decided to try the clearstream 2max, and with out an amplifier, I was able to pull in 33 stations including NBC FOX and PBS. I thought about trying an amplifier later on to see if I can get more stations but satisfied for now.

Might have worked if we could run wire to outside the home. Did not work wherever we tried to place it in the home. Probably due to the structure.

Hello Dave, we are sorry to hear you did not have a better experience with our ClearStream 2MAX. There are various reasons that could be causing interference with the TV signals, such as other electronics in your living space or where the towers are located could be on the opposite side of your home. Also, sometimes the signal is not even present in your living space. Therefore, we always recommend installing the antenna up as high as possible in a room or outdoors. We also have a free app called Antenna Point you can download to your iOS or Android phone. Once you download, the app will identify your location. You will see the towers in the surrounding area, so you aim the antenna in the right direction to pick up the TV signals. If you have not already returned the product and this does not help, please give our tech support team a call at 877-825-5572 and they will perform a FREE signal analysis, this will better assist them in pinpointing what the problem may be. We greatly appreciate your purchase and feedback. antennasdirect

Even though my location is half way between Fort Meyers and Tampa the reception is acceptable. The Geek Squad works the directions repeatedly until it was acceptable.

Right out of the box, I connected this antenna to the TV, setting it in a chair beside the TV I picked up over twenty channels. Since then I have mounted the antenna in the attic and now receive over forty channels. It paid for itself in the first month after dropping cable. Very satisfied.

I live in-between two major TV markets and this antenna picks up all stations from both markets. It’s a little bit bigger than I thought it was going to do, but it’s definitely not a total eye sore. All-in-all, I highly recommend this product.

I installed it outside and it picks up several local channels with a clear picture. I'm sure if I played around with positioning I could get a few more channels but I am not dissapointed

After ditching cable and trying different antennas in different homes, I learned and accept to not expect perfection all the time... but this one tops all other models so far. It’s tricky and beyond our control so, don’t expect full reliability but well worth the investment.

Have 2 antennas. Used indoors with amplifiers. Much better than rabbit ears with same amplifiers. Bought 2nd antenna & antenna reflectors 1 year after buying 1st antenna. Reflectors improved reception from already great antenna. Should be even better outdoors.

Bought this antenna to cleanse my spending. Dish was $90 a month.. So happy! This antenna pulled in all stations ( dependent on antenna direction. On the roof, I used the app, antenna point, before I committed to mounting. Watched a video about this Clearstream 2 and one other before rooftop mounting. Awesome! Disconnected my Dish, added a splitter to one other tv, and I am loving it! Experience level; Confident beginner. Tools Required: Basic toolbox with skills on how to use tools.
