After talking to the station engineer, we learned that they broadcast on VHF, whereas tje others use UHF! This was a reasonably priced antenna that accepts both VHF and UHF and has a low profile, acceptable withour HOA. Now we get all the local stations!

I put it up in the attic replacing an existing spaceship style omni-directional that was about five years old. I got it to scan 36 channels. None of them tuned in. I put back the old antenna and scanned 86 channels. About half tune in, but that is what it always did. I even used the app to point it in the right direction - Chicago which is about 30 miles. This will be returned tomorrow.

We have years of experience judging satellite overviews to estimate the signal blockage caused by obstructions such as trees, foliage, buildings etc... these obstructions will block signals and cause interference with other signals. Lo and behold - for the extra $20 bucks (I think I paid $20 bucks more for this one as opposed to my last disappointing TV antenna. ) I was able to finally watch NFL Football this past sunday "for Free!". The Best Buy Geek Squad hooked this up for me on my brand new 55" Toshiba "smart fire" 4K TV and I now get over 100 channels - for free!

In my area there are a lot of UHF channels and which I had previously noted that I was having issues in receiving. After plugging this antenna in I had very little issues with signal reception. Note I also utilized an antenna amplifier to boost the signal but overall I am pretty happy with this antenna.

Amazing pickup of distant stations
