You might have different experience based on satellite location but I'd say it's not worth the price. Keep in mind if you have an HD smart tv, you won't need an HD antenna to get free cable channels. This is because there is already am HD receiver in your TV and bunny ears is probably all you need.

When I connected it, he immediately said " WOW the picture is so much better". The drop outs are now rare on his favorite channels plus he can pick up more channels.

Signal reception was extremely poor even when I was pointing directly to broadcasting tower (35-50 miles away). I would NOT recommend. I went with PBD WA-2608 Digital Amplified Outdoor HD TV Antenna with Wireless Remote at half the price. With PBD WA-2608, I got 75 channels (versus 22 channels) and don't have to climb ladder to adjust antenna.

We NEED a truly OMNI-directional model because most of the channels come from a narrow area in ONE direction, we have broadcast antenna N, W and S of them Also noticed other reviews commenting on the style of this model and agree it is not weighted properly - TOP heavy - nor designed for wall mounting unless your walls happen to face the right direction We weren't able to get any more channels we unload this one on someone else and sticking to a previous model Recommend - DEPENDS, we were told in the beginning to try different models to find the RIGHT one and tell others the same
