    Great antenna

Purchased this antenna after reading all of the positive reviews. I was looking for a way to view television channels from Chicago, and as a supplement to our Direct TV satellite service. This is a great antenna. It was easy to assemble. Since it has been cold and snowing, I did not want to get up on the roof to mount the antenna. Instead, I mounted it temporarily to a patio umbrella stand with one length of umbrella tubing. I get excellent reception, and my wife is now happy that she can tune in Chicago channels. We get a clear, sharp picture with no distortion. Use the compass on your smart phone to get the best orientation for the stations you are looking for. Excellent buy at a great price.

    Don't want Dish or DirecTV?

I recently bought this antenna because I didn't want to pay for Dish or DirecTV. We couldn't be happier. I found the assembly to be quite easy. Didn't have to use the included pole to put it up. I was able to use the existing antenna pole. It picked up about 7 different channels to in my area that we didn't know was available. The channels come in lots clearer than our old antenna.

Works great in the City of Orange in CA. Got all the local channels except KCOP which I don't care about. Only bummer is it didn't work with 2 TV's BUT, it is cheap enough so I am just going to purchase another! Very Happy in So Cal. Oh, and Buh-Bye ATT Uverse! =)

    It does a good job!

This antenna sits in a second story window sifting out the HDTV signals. It does a good job. It found more channels than my previous antenna. The only issue I have is that really windy da ys and especially rainy days screw up my reception for some channels. That's not the fault of the antenna but it means there are some limitations on its use.

    Much Improved Over Previous Model

I had the old Clearstream Antenna before this one. I got a good signal but I had to constantly adjust it to find the perfect angle for each channel. If it wasn't perfect, I would get intermittent snow static and audio cutouts. This new version just automagically works. I either get a perfect picture or no picture at all. I don't even have to adjust the antenna anymore. I just set it facing the general direction and the signal is perfect for every channel in my area. It even works while indoors.

    Perfect UHF/VHF Solution

I have tried several indoor amplified antennas and got spotty reception in Arizona. I have never tried the bulky and ugly looking outdoor antennas but this one is definitely worth the extra cost. This is the solution I was looking for and got over 40 channels crystal clear with little setup. I was almost too easy. My only gripe is that it didnt include an extended coax cable. Just in time for football season!

    Awesome antenna

I put this on my roof facing Boston which is about 50 miles or so away. I get 38 out of a possible 52 channels that are within an antennas range from this. This is advertised to be a 50 mile antenna. However, most of the stations i get are a little further away than that. I unfortunately don't get Fox but it is also the furthest station away at 60 miles or so away.

Cut the cord to cable and installed this antenna in the attic. Works great! I am about 50 miles from the local broadcast antennas in Houston. Use the web app to find the local broadcast antennas in comparison to your location.

I made the right product selection

STOP SHOPPING THIS ANTENNA WORKS! I have been working to clarify the signal from my 40 year old RCA antenna and finally gave up. This ClearStream C2 did the job. Here are some important tips. 1.) Understand that this antenna improves with good direction. 2.) The wire and connections between the antenna and your devices only impede signal quality. 3.) Most of the old analog signals were transmitted on VHF. Today’s digital signals are mostly transmitted on UHF. It’s time to retire the old “rack”. 4.) The C2 does not include an amplifier. Get an amplifier to boost the reliability of the signal. They’re cheap. Try the C2 first. I wish I made the purchase sooner.

Gets great reception with attic mount in suburbs

    Posted .

I live in the suburbs about 15-20 miles away from the TV transmitter towers. The terrain here is flat, so that probably helps with the reception. Assembly was fairly easy. The pictures in the instruction were a little unclear, but it makes sense once you start piecing it together. The hardest part was mounting it in the attic. This antenna is directional, so you have to face it towards the TV towers. The instructions give a website you can go to so you can determine which direction to point the antenna. You'll need a compass (i.e. your smartphone) to complete the installation. I did have a difficult time finding a good mounting spot due to the size of the antenna in a cramp attic space. Once installed and hooked up, my channels receptions more than doubled. Before I could pickup around 20-30 channels using one of those flat, "leaf" type antennas mounted by the window. With this attic antenna, the channel count is now 50+ and all the channels I've watched have a strong signal.

If you have tv stations that have weak signal this is for you. Best signal is outside pointing in the direction of the station tower. I tried attic, but there was signal lose.

Antenna was easy to put together and install, I exchanged it for a RCA ANT751R, it got the same or better signals on all channels and picked a few more up than this item in my situation and it was half the price, But this antenna is still excellent quality!

I was moving- customer service with Comcast was Horrible and decided to stop paying the high prices. Reviews were good on this antenna. It was easy to put together- it picked up 25 channels sitting on table by tv- And clear at that!! I am thrilled so far- I highly recommend this antenna- even get QVC!!!!

    Just Buy IT!

Easy Installation, Fantastic clarity for about 20 channels located aproximately 50 miles south of Boston. If you call the Tel. number on the do not return enclosed notice the rep will help you scan the channels on your TV and also tell you which direction to point your antenna. The rep was very helpfull and saved me time guessing as to where to point it. We are getting some channels from Boston which is 50 miles away. We installed it in the attic and is fantastic. Just buy it!!!

Tried an indoor antenna from another box store and could reach 10 channels. Put this on the ground out side the house and I could reach 30 channels. Moved to roof and it went to 40 channels. Would recommend to anyone. Install was simple, seems durable.

    Awkward

I'm sure this would have been easier to use with an engineer in the family, but it's just me. I could not figure out how to connect to where the cable comes into my house, so I had to set this up by the TV set. The unit is not designed well for inside the home setting up. It is big, awkward and actually does not get as good a reception as another, far cheaper unit, I also have on another TV set. The unit is also designed for exterior use, but I could not figure out how to do an installation outside on my own either. With the right knowledge, this unit may be a very good antenna to have, but I have lost channels and have some channels just freeze up on this antenna where my other antenna has more stations and has yet to have a channel freeze. Would love to know how to improve the installation and the reception.

Just installed this antenna today and after trying just about every other kind except the large bulky ones, this was perfect. All the other ones picked up 4-7 channels, this thing gets 46. I even mounted it in my attic.

    Excellent Outdoor Antenna

I finally decided to cut the cord. After looking at multiple reviews for Antennas, i decided to purchase this model. I'm about 35 miles away from the broadcast towers so I needed an antenna with a 50 mile reception radius. So far, this antenna has worked better than I expected. I've had guests over to watch football on CBS and my guests were stunned when I told them that I was running exclusively off of an antenna. The picture quality is that good. If you're looking for a an easy to use outdoor antenna, do not hesitate to purchase this one.

Leaf 30 & 60 were no better than rabbit ears for 9 channels. Got 33 channels with ClearStream 2V outside and 21 inside. Had to move from out betweeen houses to nail 4 more channels. Crystal clear picture on all channels.
