With this antenna, picture is steady. Still cannot get some Pittsburgh channels or some in Ohio.

Does have trees the antenna is up next to ceiling behind tv and we get about 15 channels clear but not the 2 we mainly watch. High humidity or something seems to affect it so we get it only when weather is really good. We live within 15 to 35 miles of most stations not sure where towers are. If i put antenna in window get better reception but then would have cable stretched acroos living room floor so will be installing low outside and see how that does.

Posted .Hi Denny! Thank you for your feedback. Placing an antenna in the right location is key to getting better signals. We do have a free app called Antenna Point you can download to your iOS or Android phone that helps to locate the towers closest to you. Once you download, the app will identify your location. You will see the towers in the surrounding area, so you aim the antenna in the right direction to pick up the TV signals. Also, make sure the antenna is as high up as possible and that you re-scan for channels every time it is moved. Have to reset the TV constantly to keep the channels. Also cannot get The CW 58. Kind of disappointed!!

I wanted to get extra channels from some of our near by towns (30 miles away) but that didn't happen. It's expensive, but doesn't perform well enough to justify the price.

Posted .Sorry for the inconvenience. After you installed the antenna, we hope you rescanned your TV for channels using your remote! If you had another antenna installed, your TV tuner will lock in on some strong signals, so it is absolutely necessary to scan the TV for channels.

We are in the rural area and it didn't pick up well for us. That's why it is rated 4 stars. It probably works fine in an open area, just not between hills!
