It was a pleasant surprise to plug this up in my living room and immediately start picking up local stations. When I mounted it outside, wow! I got everything within the 70 mile range of this antenna! I was very impressed and purchased a second recently for another location.

My husband doesn’t have it completely installed yet. He has it on our indoor TV cable is bout and we are not picking up too many channels. Will have to try installing it outside to see if it works better.

You will see the towers in the surrounding area, so you aim the antenna in the right direction to pick up the TV signals. We ALWAYS suggest, the higher you can place your antenna the better. We haven't attached to pole yet-- just seeing on porch. To get certain channels we have to go adjust.... don't know if better once we'd attach somewhere or not
