If you're on the fence about which one to get, I'd get the 2Max. Luckily I got the 4Max a sale for the price of the 2Max.

You may already be receiving ALL of the available channels in your area with the 2MAX antenna, which then the 4MAX cannot get your more channels if they are not available. Check our transmitter locator first: https://www.antennasdirect.com/transmitter-locator.html. If there are more stations available, you may have to turn the antenna in the direction of towers, we recommend turning the antenna by a couple inches at a time and rescan for channels at every turn. Range of antenna fell short of needs

Reception was excellent for two station numbers, and fuzzy for two others. Therefore, I could only receive one of the major three.

This is false, I installed in on my roof and pointed it in the right direction. I also made sure that the Coax was plugged directly into my tv from the Antenna, no splitting. I called into the product company and they told me the only way it will work for up to 70 miles is if it is installed 40 feet in the air. My house is 15-20ft above ground level so idk how they expect me to go up another 20-25ft. I returned it to Bestbuy without any issues for a refund.

I was frustrated with my Comcast cable TV package about half a year ago because I was paying for fewer channels than I previously had with an antenna. I decided to eliminate my TV cable and go back to an antenna. I purchased this antenna and it worked very well for a while but quality has severely decreased over time. I can now only get WGN and very few other channels. I live in an apartment building facing North and have tried the antenna both inside and outside. I live within the Western suburbs of Chicago well within the 70+ mile range the antenna advertises. I have since switched back to a more expensive cable TV package.

Posted .We sorry to hear you are having issues with the ClearStream 4MAX. This type of interference can be caused by many different factors. AND sorry to hear you went back to cable (sad face). If you are still interested in using an antenna, so you don't have to pay to watch TV, please call our customer support team so they can perform a free signal analysis to evaluate you exact location. We will then be able to see what is causing the issue. Their may be a simple fix for the problem. The call should only take about 10 minutes of your time and it's free. We are available 7 days a week at 877-825-5572 (closed Thanksgiving day).
