Posted .The ClearStream 4MAX does not reach 170 miles, it is 70 miles. Sometimes, you have to move the antenna to different locations in the home to find the area where the signal is best. If you placed the antenna on the roof, we suggest using our free app on your smartphone, so you can see where the towers are located. Aim the antenna in that general direction and then scan the TV for channels. If you move the antenna, or if you had an antenna and then installed the 4MAX, then you must always scan the TV for channels. If you need assistance, please call our tech support team and they'll help you get the channels on your TV. We are available 7 days a week at 877-825-5572.

Have you tried moving the antenna to another location in the attic? You will need to rescan the TV for channels when you move the antenna. So I won’t know how it works until I get a different tv.

Posted .You can also purchase a Converter Box instead of investing in a new TV. There are several models at Best Buy under $45. You would then attach the coax cable from the 4MAX antenna to the converter box. Download our free app Antenna Point, so you can aim the antenna towards the largest cluster of towers in your area, perform a channel scan, and voila, you'll receive FREE channels.

This item does not pick up anything in asecluded valley area. Don't waste your time. I, however, am giving out kuddoes to the Best Buy team that installed the antenna. I informed the team a few days later and the team returned and delicately removed the antenna. In addition, they plugged up the holes that were left in the siding after the antenna was removed. All parts returned and I received a full refund!
