In fact it was hard to get reception at all. I did try at another location only about 4 miles from the source and it worked. Didn't live up to the advertisement.

You will be able to see where the towers are located, the number of TV channels available in your area, and the distance from your home to each tower. Also, try installing the antenna high up, on the wall or in a window. Then, re-scan your TV for channels. If you continue to have issues, please chat with our tech support for any additional help. Still don't get local OTA channels reliably

Once you arrive at your destination, the app will identify your location. You will see the towers in the surrounding area, so you aim the antenna in the right direction to pick up the TV signals. Also, make sure the antenna is as high up as possible and that you re-scan for channels every time it is moved. Maybe I need a better booster for the antenna.

There are various reasons why an antenna may not pick up certain channels. For instance, placing an antenna in the right location is the key to getting better signals. If you happened to place the antenna on the floor, for example, the signals may not have been presented or low to the floor. For indoor purposes, even an indoor/outdoor antenna needs to be up high. Towers are 1500 feet up in the air. Most of those signals are not pointing down, so we always recommend placing the antenna up as high as possible to achieve the best signal reception. I had Best Buy Total Tech Support help me set up the antenna. Very disappointed. Returned the antenna and lost some money on what I paid for install.
