Hard to assemble!

Opened to box to assemble it and was overwhelmed. The photo here is deceiving . The figure 8 ears are complex together. The instructions are not very clear. Lots of hardware to assemble before it is all put together Needless to say taking it back for a refund!

It’s more like 40 and it doesn’t seem to pick up UHF signals. I wouldn’t buy it again. I had a similar ClearStream model in the past that worked great. It was a similar design with a rectangular wire grid. This model does not have the grid and it is much less effective. I wouldn’t recommend it.

We ALWAYS recommend you place the antenna as high up as possible; 70 miles is a long distance and just because some obstructions cannot be seen does not mean they are not present between your location and the towers. Also, be sure to re-scan for channels every time you move the antenna. Sometimes it may take a few tries to locate the "sweet spot". We also have a free app called Antenna Point you can download to your iOS or Android phone. Once you download, the app will identify your location. You will see the towers in the surrounding area, so you aim the antenna in the right direction to pick up the TV signals. Thank you for your purchase and feedback.
Poor Reception

We just installed it last weekend in our new house and I get a total of 6 channels, some of which are duplicates. I get no Broadcast channels and since more than 30 days have gone by since I bought, I can't even return to get my money back. Extremely disappointed in the service as this was the most expensive you all had and it's basically useless to me and I am out $160.

The furthest a tower is from me is 50 miles and all I get is about 4 channels a day and not even the same 4 channels.

rural difficult reception area

We have tried three expensive antennas and have achieved only limited reception on any of them. But we had absolutely decided to stick with just a few FREE channels instead of a dish of any kind, after being really had by cable: $243 per month and rising for channels we never watched.

It always picks up the basic 15 channels not a bad thing if that’s what you need but like I said it was for my mother who loves her news in Spanish.

I can't figure it out and I don't know how to find anyone who can. It is not setup yet to work though the old cable system.

Easy but no signal

Deceptive advertisement

The direction of the antenna has to be unreasonably precise to get some signal, any slight deviation will cause loss of signal. The distance range is a lie. I have researched the distance of transmitting source and it is well within range, but the antenna still will not pick it up. DO NOT BUY.

Posted .Hi there! It is important to remember, when replacing an old antenna for a new one, to perform a channel scan using your TV remote. When disconnecting another antenna model, the TV tuner locks in on high power TV signals, so the lower power signals will be disrupted. If you do not run a channel scan when connecting a new TV antenna, then you won't pick up the other TV channels. Cheap Plastic and Connections

However, the 2 plastic piece just snap on and ours kept coming off so I had to use zip ties to keep them on. I will probably replace this with another one next year.
