The direction of the antenna has to be unreasonably precise to get some signal, any slight deviation will cause loss of signal. The distance range is a lie. I have researched the distance of transmitting source and it is well within range, but the antenna still will not pick it up. DO NOT BUY.

Posted .Hi there! It is important to remember, when replacing an old antenna for a new one, to perform a channel scan using your TV remote. When disconnecting another antenna model, the TV tuner locks in on high power TV signals, so the lower power signals will be disrupted. If you do not run a channel scan when connecting a new TV antenna, then you won't pick up the other TV channels. However, the 2 plastic piece just snap on and ours kept coming off so I had to use zip ties to keep them on. I will probably replace this with another one next year.

I do really think I did waste my money on this antena. Too bad I didn't have time to set it up after a month of purchase and couldn't return it for the 30 days policy. So, zero star. I would really tell someone not to buy this item, didn’t work on my 4k time 7 series I bought.

If you placed the antenna on the floor, for instance, the signals may not have been presented or low to the floor. For indoor purposes, even an indoor/outdoor antenna needs to be up high. Towers are 1500 feet up in the air. Most of those signals are not pointing down, so we ALWAYS recommend placing the antenna up as high as possible to achieve the best signal reception. Posted .Hi Dean! Thank you for your purchase and feedback of our ClearStream 4MAX HDTV Antenna. The curvature of the Earth will block most over-the-air broadcast signals at roughly 70 miles. According to the current laws of physics, it is generally impossible to deliver a range greater than that with a TV antenna. While you may receive signals from farther away in absolutely ideal conditions (a home atop a hill whose broadcast towers are directly on top of another hill with a clear shot between the two and absolutely no obstacles) or you’re inclined to engineer a unique (and probably dangerously tall) setup, then consistent, reliable reception of anything over 70 miles away should not be expected. However, an amplifier may help deliver a better outcome depending on the terrain surrounding your location.
