You will also need to face the antenna towards the largest cluster of towers in your area. You may need to move the antenna to several locations to find the best reception. Hardware is all there, so that's nice. Coax connection should be a solid connection and not just a small connector to plug into. Yes it still works but it should be a coax connector that's stationary and not movable.

We only picked up a few channels during the day. We got nothing when the sun went down or if it was cloudy. It was suggested we put 30 feet up. We were not doing that because it was only for temporary use. Not at all worth the money.

Once you download, the app will identify your location. You will see the towers in the surrounding area, so you aim the antenna in the right direction to pick up the TV signals. Also, often times, you have to find the sweet spot for the antenna. The roof or in the attic is the best place to install this antenna. Give us a all and we can help you receive the best signals. I figured that would give me the best area for the reception. I got no more channels that the cheap little wall mound antenna I have had for years.

Posted .It is possible that you were already receiving all the available channels in your area with the indoor antenna - even within a 70 mile range. We always recommend checking the towers before upgrading to a new antenna as we do not want folks to purchase equipment they may not need.
