Posted .Hi there! Thank you for your purchase and feedback. We apologize you have not had great success with our ClearStream 4MAX HDTV Antenna. We ALWAYS recommend you place the antenna as high up as possible; just because some obstructions cannot be seen does not mean they are not present between your location and the towers. Also, be sure to re-scan for channels every time you move the antenna. Sometimes it may take a few tries to locate the "sweet spot". We also have a free app called Antenna Point you can download to your iOS or Android phone. Once you download, the app will identify your location. You will see the towers in the surrounding area, so you aim the antenna in the right direction to pick up the TV signals. If you continue to have trouble after trying this, just give our support team a call at 877-825-5572 or chat with us at https://www.antennasdirect.com, and they will perform a free signal analysis to pinpoint what the problem may be. Excellent antenna nothing else needed

I write this review for the people who are sceptical of all the hype given to an item sold by a company. I went into this venture pessimistically already thinking the antenna wasn't going to stack up to the claims of the company and when I did get the antenna up (which was at the peak of a Gable on my two story home 30ft in the air! SCARY!) loe and behold it didn't work! Figures after all that work hooking it up with an antenna preamp and mounting it to the mast and rotor from the old antenna I turn the TV on and Bam! Two channels. Well after messing with it for two days (up and down the ladder several times) I was ready to toss it all in the garbage. But before I did I reached out to an electronics repair man who also installed antennas (thought they died out with the analog tv) I told him my tale of whoa and he then instructed me to remove any gagets on the coax cable between the antenna and the tv and run the coax straight to the tv (apparently he had more faith in the antenna than I did) Well with apprehension I did and after couple of more times up and down the ladder I was ready to be disillusioned again so on goes the tv,... set the channel finder and wait and count,,,1,,2,,10,,,20,,,30!!,,,40!!! CHANNELS, HOLY antenna batman! every channel plus more. I was to say the least (which I didn't here) FLABBERGASTED! l had to sit down from the onslot of channels parading across my TV all of them crystal clear and strong signals. Keep in mind I live in a city 30 miles away from the stations at least, with telephone and power wires and trees and big buildings around me. So I definitely can't make this story short but I felt obligated to pay respect where respect is dew. If you're looking for a antenna that lives up to it's name Clearstream is it, give it a chance, you can always take it back, but I don't think you will, trust me "mister I thought I knew it all" I gotta get back to whatchin my 40 plus channels yeah baby! Have a terrific day cause I am, thanks Clearstream I'll never doubt you again.
