Not worth the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Don't believe the claims on the package. This was no better than a cheap antenna I picked up at Big Lots for $6.00

Posted .You are mostly likely receiving all the available channels in your area. Also, depending on where you Installed this antenna, assuming indoors, and in the same location as your "cheap" antenna, that would also affect reception. We recommend installing a long range antenna in your attic or on your roof for the best reception. Thank you for your time.

Works on Cape Cod.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We live at the far end of the advertised range and we now get about 20 channels. I have the antenna mounted on my roof with 10’ of steel pipe so it is about 25’ above ground level. According to the web we are 63 miles from the broadcast towers with no mountains in the way. If it is stormy we do get pixelation but we only watch tv a few hours a week and have gone 3 years without tv so I just pick up a book or stream something like I used to do. The picture, when not pixelated, is crystal clear. I would recommend but I think the advertised range of 70 miles is a bit optimistic

THE HD Antenna for rural area reception
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Live about 65 miles from LA and after trying various indoor antennas with either little or no decent signal reception, this outdoor unit seems to be the one! Yes you will need to mount it either in attic or outside up on roof (in this case two story home) and after auto scan tuning Voila! 40+ channels including local market HD stations. Going to cancel cable, this is one of the most important cord cutting solutions that you’ll need. Easy setup and install, good construction and very good reception for the fringe areas...recommended.

No Better than $24.00 Antenna

Posted .We are sorry to hear you were not happy with your purchase of the ClearStream 4MAX antenna. Signal strength from the broadcast towers does play a significant role in receiving signals from the towers. Hopefully, when you hooked up the antenna, you scanned for channels on your TV even if you replaced the ClearStream 4MAX for another TV antenna, you need to rescan for channels on your TV. If you have any questions about TV antennas, give us a call toll-free at 1-877-825-5572 or chat with us online. For your convenience, we are available 7 days a week. 9am to 9pm Mon - Fri and Sat – Sun 10am to 6pm Central Time.

great antenna for the money
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this antenna about 2 years ago for my mom, we installed it in the attic and she now picks up between 25 to 30 channels depending on weather. She lives in a small town 25 miles out of Peoria,il. she and I are very pleased with this purchase and highly recommend it. I myself bought the smaller version of this antenna first and installed it on my roof about 10 miles farther out than my moms home in the middle of the country and it allowed us to remove our direct tv,we pick up between 20 to 25 channels and are very satisfied with the quality of uninterrupted channels we get.A few of the channels come in better during fall and winter months because of less obstruction from foliage but at least 20 of our channels come in all year round.I paid around 80 dollars for my smaller one ,and then bought my moms 4MAX antenna around Christmas for about the same price as my smaller one. 2 years in and still working great.

Great Value
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great product & I can't believe the quality of the HD picture. If I didn't know it was on antenna I would swear it was cable or streaming! I got it primarily because of hurricanes & placed it in the attic....no problem with reception. It was easy to install. Tuffest part running the cable But I used the TV cable to pull it down so it wasn't so hard.

Excellent, easy, but expensive.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This could not have been easier for me. I climbed up on my roof and unbolted the directv satellite dish and disconnected the wire. I then bolted this antenna in its place to the same pole and reconnected the coax cable from directv to this antenna. I had googled what direction to aim it and used my compass on my phone. Whole process was less than 10 minutes and I now receive 32 channels (all that are in range). I felt the price was a little high but the picture quality is excellent and you probably get what you paid for if you go cheaper anyway. I stream everything else and now get all the local stuff free!

Up and running with 50+ channels with ease
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to put the antenna together. Simple mounting kit, had the pole and mounting kit attached to the rooftop eave in under an hour. The bracket was easy to attach and secure to the mounting pole. This antenna has about a 20 degree range. That is important since not all broadcast towers are in the same physical location in most cities. I am 60 miles from Houston and receive all . With the 20 degree reception range, I pointed the antenna to the station with the lowest strength and was able to get all TV signals in my area.

Works very well in my area
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I installed this in a garage attic approximately 25' off the ground in an established neighborhood with large trees every direction. There are massive cottonwood trees in the back yard the entire width of the lot. There is about a 100 ft. run of cable down to the basement then to the cable splitter which routes to to all the various rooms in the house. My expectations were quite low to say the least. However, this antenna pulled in all the local channels very well even on a stormy night. I haven't even tried an antenna pre-amplifier yet, which I'm sure would really dial it in. If you have any skills with nuts and bolts this is pretty easy to install. I purchased the antenna on a really good after-Thanksgiving sale, so watch for a good sale before buying. I see there is another model that comes with a pre-amp now, but you may not need it. I'll probably still opt to try a pre-amp to see if I can get even more channels. The local cable channel now wants around $100/mo for cable TV, when all I care about are the basic local channels. For what I paid, this antenna will pay for itself in one month.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It has been very hard to get a good signal in the area that we live and when we upgraded our bunny ears to this we went from 5 channel to 26 clear over the air channel, the strenght of this product is amazing and very stable. highly recommend this product for people who live out in the middle of no where!

There's no antenna better the Clearstream 4Max!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Someone can’t buy an antenna better then the Clearstream 4Max, the best buy for the money! The advertising speaks the truth for itself, in two regards, the antenna company state’s, their antenna is compact to an antenna three times larger and the antenna can pull in channels 75 miles away, because that is exactly what the antenna does! The higher the antenna is not better, the antenna must be exactly between 25 to 30 feet above ground level to work the best and that’s it. The antenna won’t pull in more channels if the antenna is high as possible. I get 50 channels from a 75 mile diameter range from where I live. However there are a few channels where pixelation may occur at some times, on some of the long distance towers in mileage, that the local stations provide. Don’t bother spending money on a preamp, the antenna will not pull in more channels or improve pixelation! The Clearstream 4MAX works the best by itself.

Posted .Hi there! We apologize that our ClearStream 4MAX is not working out for you. We do have a free app called Antenna Point you can download to your iOS or Android phone. Once you download, the app will identify your location. You will see the towers in the surrounding area, so you aim the antenna in the right direction to pick up the TV signals. If you have not already returned the product and this does not help, please give our tech support team a call at 877-825-5572 and they will perform a FREE signal analysis of your location, this will better assist them in pinpointing what the problem may be. We are here 7 days a week to help! We appreciate your purchase and feedback.

Excellent antenna reception
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was my last attempt to receive our CBS and Fox channels. No one in our area could get them. With this antenna, no problem. Sometime later, the station improved their broadcast antenna, and I assume that all can now receive their transmissions. However, I still use this antenna and someday may mount it on my roof, and I will expect to receive even more channels.

Great antenna!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Buying this antenna was an epiphany for me. We'd just switched from PrismTV (CenturyLink) due to the charges being increased 123%, to Direct TV. Since Direct TV didn't carry a couple of the channels I watch, I bought the ClearStream antenna rated for 70 miles. Great picture quality, easy setup and use and now I have MeTV and Comet.
