We are sorry to hear you were not happy with your purchase of the ClearStream 4MAX antenna. Signal strength from the broadcast towers does play a significant role in receiving signals from the towers. Hopefully, when you hooked up the antenna, you scanned for channels on your TV even if you replaced the ClearStream 4MAX for another TV antenna, you need to rescan for channels on your TV. If you have any questions about TV antennas, give us a call toll-free at 1-877-825-5572 or chat with us online. For your convenience, we are available 7 days a week. 9am to 9pm Mon - Fri and Sat – Sun 10am to 6pm Central Time. antennasdirect

I purchased this antenna about 2 years ago for my mom, we installed it in the attic and she now picks up between 25 to 30 channels depending on weather. She lives in a small town 25 miles out of Peoria,il. she and I are very pleased with this purchase and highly recommend it. I myself bought the smaller version of this antenna first and installed it on my roof about 10 miles farther out than my moms home in the middle of the country and it allowed us to remove our direct tv,we pick up between 20 to 25 channels and are very satisfied with the quality of uninterrupted channels we get.A few of the channels come in better during fall and winter months because of less obstruction from foliage but at least 20 of our channels come in all year round.I paid around 80 dollars for my smaller one ,and then bought my moms 4MAX antenna around Christmas for about the same price as my smaller one. 2 years in and still working great.

Great product & I can't believe the quality of the HD picture. If I didn't know it was on antenna I would swear it was cable or streaming! I got it primarily because of hurricanes & placed it in the attic....no problem with reception. It was easy to install. Tuffest part running the cable But I used the TV cable to pull it down so it wasn't so hard.

This could not have been easier for me. I climbed up on my roof and unbolted the directv satellite dish and disconnected the wire. I then bolted this antenna in its place to the same pole and reconnected the coax cable from directv to this antenna. I had googled what direction to aim it and used my compass on my phone. Whole process was less than 10 minutes and I now receive 32 channels (all that are in range). I felt the price was a little high but the picture quality is excellent and you probably get what you paid for if you go cheaper anyway. I stream everything else and now get all the local stuff free!

Easy to put the antenna together. Simple mounting kit, had the pole and mounting kit attached to the rooftop eave in under an hour. The bracket was easy to attach and secure to the mounting pole. This antenna has about a 20 degree range. That is important since not all broadcast towers are in the same physical location in most cities. I am 60 miles from Houston and receive all . With the 20 degree reception range, I pointed the antenna to the station with the lowest strength and was able to get all TV signals in my area.

I installed this in a garage attic approximately 25' off the ground in an established neighborhood with large trees every direction. There are massive cottonwood trees in the back yard the entire width of the lot. There is about a 100 ft. run of cable down to the basement then to the cable splitter which routes to to all the various rooms in the house. My expectations were quite low to say the least. However, this antenna pulled in all the local channels very well even on a stormy night. I haven't even tried an antenna pre-amplifier yet, which I'm sure would really dial it in. If you have any skills with nuts and bolts this is pretty easy to install. I purchased the antenna on a really good after-Thanksgiving sale, so watch for a good sale before buying. I see there is another model that comes with a pre-amp now, but you may not need it. I'll probably still opt to try a pre-amp to see if I can get even more channels. The local cable channel now wants around $100/mo for cable TV, when all I care about are the basic local channels. For what I paid, this antenna will pay for itself in one month.

It has been very hard to get a good signal in the area that we live and when we upgraded our bunny ears to this we went from 5 channel to 26 clear over the air channel, the strenght of this product is amazing and very stable. highly recommend this product for people who live out in the middle of no where!

This was my last attempt to receive our CBS and Fox channels. No one in our area could get them. With this antenna, no problem. Sometime later, the station improved their broadcast antenna, and I assume that all can now receive their transmissions. However, I still use this antenna and someday may mount it on my roof, and I will expect to receive even more channels.

There's no antenna better the Clearstream 4Max!

Someone can’t buy an antenna better then the Clearstream 4Max, the best buy for the money! The advertising speaks the truth for itself, in two regards, the antenna company state’s, their antenna is compact to an antenna three times larger and the antenna can pull in channels 75 miles away, because that is exactly what the antenna does! The higher the antenna is not better, the antenna must be exactly between 25 to 30 feet above ground level to work the best and that’s it. The antenna won’t pull in more channels if the antenna is high as possible. I get 50 channels from a 75 mile diameter range from where I live. However there are a few channels where pixelation may occur at some times, on some of the long distance towers in mileage, that the local stations provide. Don’t bother spending money on a preamp, the antenna will not pull in more channels or improve pixelation! The Clearstream 4MAX works the best by itself.

Hi there! We apologize that our ClearStream 4MAX is not working out for you. We do have a free app called Antenna Point you can download to your iOS or Android phone. Once you download, the app will identify your location. You will see the towers in the surrounding area, so you aim the antenna in the right direction to pick up the TV signals. If you have not already returned the product and this does not help, please give our tech support team a call at 877-825-5572 and they will perform a FREE signal analysis of your location, this will better assist them in pinpointing what the problem may be. We are here 7 days a week to help! We appreciate your purchase and feedback. antennasdirect

Buying this antenna was an epiphany for me. We'd just switched from PrismTV (CenturyLink) due to the charges being increased 123%, to Direct TV. Since Direct TV didn't carry a couple of the channels I watch, I bought the ClearStream antenna rated for 70 miles. Great picture quality, easy setup and use and now I have MeTV and Comet.

When we cut the cable, we tried all the various streaming services. Unfortunately they were all the same and broadcast the same OLD programming with a few exceptions. Finally we thought to go back to a standard programming via a HDTV Antenna. We are between two larger cities, Detroit and Lansing, Michigan. So we looked over the antennas and decided on the ClearSource. We were anxious to try it and set it up inside and pointed it out the window. After scanning we have 6 or 7 channels, and half of those pixelated. So the next day we took it out side and mounted it on our old direct TV satellite post. We aimed it at Detroit (about 50 miles southeast of our location) After a new scan, we have 45 channels, nearly ZERO pixelation! This is an EASY assembly and easier install when placing it outside. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

    CUT THE CABLE NOW!!!!

I cut my cable and saved $110 per month. I put this in my attic. On second effort to direct it, I picked up ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX. Crystal clear. I use my computer via HDMI cable to get FOX news live stream with only a 2 minute delay. I use KODI with add-ons for evening entertainment. You can not guess the volume and varity of things I watch for free. My internet bill now is only $41. The total cost to CUT THE CORD is less then $200. I will save $1,300 per year. Real good wages for the effort. I would not reccomend putting this on the roof but you don't have too.
