The antenna does everything that it says it will do. Easy to install and put together. I picked up a 52 over the air channels. I got this on sale at Best Buy for a third off of its regular cost.

Great antenna! Picture is clearer than I expected it to be. We are 50 miles from nearest signal and all channels are received. Very easy to install. If you're interested in getting rid of cable, this is a great alternative.

I purchased this antenna for myself several years ago after I "cut the cord". I mounted it in my attic and get great reception and 28 channels. (Although, 3 of those are shopping and 1 of them is a kids cartoon channel: qubo.) I purchased this one for my girlfriend's house (Black Friday sale for $99) as she is also looking at cutting the cord. Right now, she pays for her internet-based TV and her channels aren't coming in HD. I haven't mounted it for her yet, but we tried it out inside her house and it is yielding more than 20 channels, most in HD of 720p or 1080i. I expect that she'll get a few more channels once we mount it outside with fewer obstructions to the station towers.

Paid the extra because other people said they were getting lots of channels. This didn't add any additional channels than the ones we were getting with the antenna we already bought for 1/3 of the price.

The years of searching for a antenna that would work for my location is finally over! I have tried giant directional and multi-directional, amplified...you name it. Nothing really worked for all the channels that were available in the Anchorage area. I'd get some but not others....nothing worked until now. Completely blown away by this antenna. hooked it up at the normal spot and the first scan came in with every channel in the area. Strong clear signals with no signal boosters...so happy now.

Setup and install was easy. Seems sturdy enough to last a few years outdoors. Receives many more channels than an indoor wall antenna at the same address.

I use antennas to watch local TV programming. I have used several, including some flat, white models. One is a rigid, white, square, plastic model. Also used one that is white, rectangular and paper thin and flexible. I tried this black Antennas Direct model to see if it worked better. I just set it up in the house, not outside on the roof. I found that it worked ok, bringing in several channels of digital broadcast TV. However, it was not better than the other antennas I have tried. We live in the distant suburbs so we find we need to move around these antennas from day to day in order to get reception for all the channels we watch. However, once you get your antenna adjusted, you can watch these local channels for free. Most of the local channels now have 2-3 sub channels as well. Someone who wants to set this up in their attic or on their roof might have more success.

Hi Jacob! Thank you for your purchase and honest feedback of our ClearStream 4MAX. We apologize for any trouble you may be having locating channels. Placing an antenna in the right location is the key to getting better signals. If you placed the antenna on the floor, for instance, the signals may not have been presented or low to the floor. For indoor purposes, even an indoor/outdoor antenna needs to be up high. Towers are 1500 feet up in the air. Most of those signals are not pointing down, so we always recommend placing the antenna up as high as possible to achieve the best signal reception. If these tips do not work, please call our tech support team at 877-825-5572, and they will perform a free home signal analysis to see what the issue could be. We are available 7 days a week to help. Thank you! antennasdirect

I put this antenna on a pole a couple feet higher than my roof and I get 69 clear channels. I replaced the huge old style antenna and didn't think this small antenna would compare... but I get even more channels now.

I mounted this antenna on the roof and tapped into the cable left behind from Directv. It fed the signal to my cable distributor box, which splits the cable to each room. The signal was weak and required a powered splitter. After that, I received 64 channels, some as sharp as 4K. Later I added a Tablo Dual Lite to capture DVR type recordings. So the true cost to cut the cord from Directv was about $160 for this antenna, $40 for a powered splitter, $125 for the Tablo unit, and $35 for a flash drive to capture DVR.
