This is a good antennae. It is supposed to be omni directional, but does not seem to be the case. I am rural and pointed to a norther city. I got 40 channels from that direction. A southern city that was closer did not register. The northern city signals did depend on pointing in an optimal position Remember a splitter can drop your signal. I bought an channel master amplifies splitter and works great. did not get a Pre AMP

I’ve had this kind of antennas before and they were very, very good. I do really recommend this product. I bought one because my other one was too old.

Thank you for your purchase and great review of our ClearStream 4MAX. If you re-scan for channels once a month there is a chance even more could be added in your area. We greatly appreciate your business!

Yes it gets over 50+ miles of reception. And with this multi- telescope receiver you don’t have to turn the antenna. 70 channels on first scan!!!!!!!!!!

There's lots of digital TV broadcast available for free, but I was having trouble picking up some local stations with my previous cheapo ~$20 antenna.
This one cost a lot more, but it was a significant improvement. Any station that I could 'just barely' get with the previous antenna comes through crystal clear now. I even pick up a few stations I didn't know about. I keep it indoors and it works fine through my walls. I almost never have to fiddle with the orientation.

Super easy to install. If you have an existing satellite like I did, this was a dream to install. Coax cable is already in place because of the satellite. It’s literally, take down off your dish, keep the existing poll, hook up your antenna and BAM it’s done. Some tinkering to get the optimal reception. I live east of cleveland and the only problem I have is channel 19 on rainy days. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t.
Save money and buy this. Live tv is a rip off and I’m never going back to paying for cable tv again.

Bought this antenna to access local stations when we gave up our cable TV as a cost-cutting option. Local stations are surprisingly clear, with a digital picture that seems just as good as cable TV. Reception pretty much as advertised. Bonus is we now get a few more major local TV stations that weren’t carried by our cable provider.

This ClearStream 4MAX Antenna has met the challenge for bringing in all the channels available in our area. I chose this one to match the distance requirements for our local stations. I followed the directions for finding the broadcasting towers and installed the antenna at the peak of my roof. (We already had an outside antenna.) With the first try, we lacked some of the channels we have never been able to receive with the old antenna. We made an adjustment in the direction which brought in all the channels that are available. I already had two inquiries within 2 weeks and recommended it.

Excellent Antenna for use in attic. Although very well constructed and suitable for either outdoors or indoors, I preferred to easily install indoors since my home has inside attic height of @ 14’+ and mounted antenna near end gable and as close to peak of roof as possible. Transmission tower is approximately 55-60 miles from my home and reception is outstanding and now receiving 37 perfectly clear digital channels. Purchased this Clearstream to replace a previous Mohu Antenna due to its considerably longer reception range.

First impression is that this is a mostly-plastic antenna that is supposed to be outside in the sun. I am 17 miles from the transmitters, and this antenna picks up the problematic channels that I want to watch the most. I wouldn't say this is the BEST antenna on the market, but it outperforms its cheaper counterparts. For the price, I should have purchased an old school Channel Master antenna, but I could find them at a local retailer like Best Buy.
