I live about 30 plus miles from our closest major city and I decided to be a cord cutter and was relying on my apple tv to get me what I needed for the kids. But alas the football season was upon us and i needed some channels. Picked this up and WOW! Almost perfect. I am spotty on one channel but have made no effort to adjust anything yet. Others come in clear and with minimal disruptions. Installed in attic of a two story home. Could not be happier with purchase. Would buy again in a heart beat!

I recently cut the cable with Direct TV, switching in favor of getting service through Amazon Fire TV and Playstation VUE service. Needing to get network stations too, I needed something that would pick up well since I live in the NC mountains of Asheville. We have a local ABC station, but CBS, NBC & FOX all come from the Greenville / Spartanburg area which is about 50-60 miles away. I purchased this antenna and am amazed that I am picking up 18 digital channels just as clear as the Direct TV service. And nice thing is I don't lose them when a big thunderstorm blows over. So this is a great way to cut the cable!

I've owned both the 1. Terk HDTVAZ Amplified Indoor HDTV Antenna 2. TERK Omni-Directional, Amplified Digital Flat Indoor HDTV Antenna The Antennas Direct - ClearStream 4V Indoor/Outdoor HDTV Antenna - Black/Silver picks up more channels once you get the direction sorted out. The antenna is large, but can balance on it's own with the included equipment. I've had general success placing it behind the TV pointed out against a window. In another case, I've had to fuss with the directionality of the antenna. Highly recommended to get a high quality RG6 coaxial cable. HDMI cables cause interference against lower quality coaxial cables and will reduce the signal quality (choppy video, etc.).

I purchased the appliances for a home I was renovating. Definitely a great upgrade for the home!

I used this antenna for my gym roomand it works good

Mounted this antenna in an outdoor location about 35 miles from TV station transmitters. Even getting PBS channels which per online sites where you put in your zip code to see what stations you should be able to get. Working without any amplifiers. Did have some signal interference during very high winds, most likely from tree movements as it works great under normal conditions. I give it 5 stars for performance, but -1 as the instructions were a bit hard to follow. Pictures were clear anfd helpful, but small text mad it difficult for me to read. It was actually very easy to assemble, although when I first opened the box and saw all the parts, I thought it would be much more difficult.

Don't pay a monthly payment for a ton of reruns any more

This is a fantastic antenna. Reception is so clear & we get alot of channels

I would definitely recommend this product to anyone wishing to ditch satellite or cable.
