I tried several other off the air antennaes with out much success. We use this at our cabin about 45 miles east of St. Louis in a wooded, hilly area. This antennae was easy to assemble and install, with coherent instructions. Ours is installed about 12 ft above ground level and pulls in 14 stations. Rain does not seem to effect recption, but sometimes high winds cause the picture to flutter. We are very happy with it.

I added two smaller tvs to go with my 65" in my room. I didn't want to get more cable boxes so I thought I'd try this antennae. Just plugging it in to test it I got 30 channels. When I installed it in the attic and used my phone to just point it in the right direction I got almost 70 channels. I get CBS, NBC, ABC, FOX, WGN plus many other channels. This is great for weekends when I can watch multiple sports games.

Picked one during the cyber Monday promotion as I planned to cut cord on cable in New Year. This HD antenna truly means HD quality and just by connecting the TV without even mounting, it picked up 30 channels, some of which are 40 miles away. Can't be happy and I just hoped the build quality could be little better for the price point as I am worried of product corroding when installed outdoors.

The ClearStream 4v is the best antenna tried. It is a little expensive, so I tried using lower priced antennas. I wouldove up to the next price range when they would not work good. After purchasing the ClearStream 4v occasionally there is some interface. However it is usually in bad weather and doesn't last too long.

I can pick up stations up to 130 mi away installed indoors and ~35ft from ground level. I added a cheap amp from lowes to increase it by 10dB and it works great. Only downside is that I can't decided which channels I want at certain times. I could loosen it up and move it when needed but that seems to be too much trouble sometimes. So far no regrets. I may install it outside one day.

I purchased, assembled and installed this unit for my father-in-law who lives in Orlando FL. He cannot get over the EXCELLENT reception (clarity, color,sound) this unit provides. I highly recommend this antenna. Good installation instructions made assembly easy!

Gets good reception. Verry directional. Hard to get stations from different repeaters.

Antenna works fantastic!! We have it mounted in a closet next to an exterior wall on the upper level of our home. Approximately 40 miles from large broadcast metro area, and we get plenty of stations. Between digital broadcast and a couple of streaming services we no longer pay high TV service bills! Would probably get better reception in an attic space or even externally mounted but we are definitely happy with the results we've gotten.

This Antennas Direct ClearStream 4V antenna had great reviews. I made the purchase, installed the antenna in the attic and was pleased to receive the 4 major network channels plus public tv. Quality is great. The FCC DTV website said to expect to receive 62 channels, I received 52. I "aimed" the antenna NW. It received the channels I aimed it at (including receiving them during storms) plus channels from other directions. It met my expectations and was a good purchase from BestBuy.com.

Went 'cable free' recently and purchased this to provide me with free local network TV. I live in a 1st floor condo and am limited to indoor placement for this antenna. The network transmitters are 45-50 miles away. I am able to receive 18 of 22 channels available. I will be relocating the antenna to my outside storage shed this spring and may updated this review at that time.

We purchased the ClearStream 4V antenna when we "cut the cord" from satellite TV. We had tried the flat plastic window antenna, but was tired of struggling with the positioning. We stay in the Ohio River Valley during the summer months and it's hard to get a good signal. We got 46 channels on our first scan! I miss a few channels from paid TV, but I'm VERY pleased with the channels we get for free. Love MeTV! We like this antenna so much, we got another one for our RV in Florida.

Purchased this antenna without reading any reviews. Just needed something better then what I had before. I have it sitting in my living room propped standing up. This antenna is awesome for being non-powered. Stations look like I have cable or satellite. I don't get any snowy or fuzzy images on the screen when watching anything. I have rarely had to move the antenna for receptions issues. Works great for picking up signals during heavy storms and high winds which can often kill signal.

This antenna is awesome! Not only did we get 20 channels OTA, but it boosted our FM signal as well, so that we receive no static. Channels are clear with no buffering. It is mounted in our attic, and that was enough for a great signal. Works much better than the best indoor antenna from Best Buy, which we had previously purchased. That only received 13 channels, sitting beside a window. Returned it and got this antenna, which works perfectly. No looking back to cable now!

Living in the Seattle area makes it hard to find the right antenna that does the job. I chose this one after reading the reviews on it and all I can say is that it works GREAT! I placed this on my roof in the Maple Valley area and could instantly get anywhere between 20 - 36 channels depending on the direction it's pointed. If I would have put it at the highest point, about 30 feet, I would say that it would have picked up over 40 channels. If you buy this one, you won't be disappointed.

Assembly of this antenna was quick, easy and the directions were very clear. The antenna is lightweight and easy to move once assembled. For my application I installed in the attic. Pointing the antenna in the general direction of my main OTA signals I mounted it easily using the provided bracket and arm. Once installed I performed a search on my television and picked up over 50 digital channels, some of which are over 60 miles away. I am very happy with the results.

I have been through three antennas before buying this one. The quality that you get for this one is worth the price you don't have to readjust it every channel. So if your looking for the best investment for the quality this is it.

I do not have this mounted on a roof like you would traditionally would. I currently have it mounted on a Tripod so I can move it around easier. It is light weight so the tripod can carry it. I can pick up most of my local broadcast channels. Some I need to adjust the antenna in a different direction for the stations I need, but other than that, it has good range. Definitely better than the other antenna I had before this one which was an older Antenna design
