I had planned to get the Clearstream 2V but found this on sale for less! Installed in attic pointing at antenna farm to south in N DFW, 45 miles away. House has radiant barrier however install is over garage with dormer windows and no radiant barrier. Cable to structured wiring box was ~ 90ft run with Channel Master 4x distribution amp to rest of house. TV with tuner and Channel Master DVR/Tuner get 53 channels! Plan to tweak aim and add CM med preamp to improve reception.

This antenna was just what I was looking for. Previously had a GE indoor antenna that I had to readjust to get "good" reception. It still was spotty. This antenna eliminated that problem. Now I get good reception and additional channels and it is connected to three TVs instead of one only like the indoor antenna.

I purchased this antenna because my Direct TV goes out a lot and I wanted to be able to watch the basic channels. The antenna worked OK in my living room but when I moved it up to the attic it worked a lot better. Great picture and picks up about 50 or so channels (many of them in foreign languages) It was a little complicated to put together but worth it.

The ClearStream 4V HDTV Antenna uses patented technology to receive TV signals 70 miles away from broadcast towers. Ideal for suburban and rural areas where heavy foliage or roofing materials reduce the incoming signal. The dedicated UHF and VHF multi-directional elements deliver range and reception in less than ideal locations. The ClearStream 4V comes with mounting hardware and a 20in. mount with a pivoting foot to allow installation on vertical or horizontal surfaces.

Excellent, efficient high gain TV antenna in compact form factor. 4 strong UHF loops and an added VHF dipole. Combine with a good amplifier to boost the signal and you have a strong, reliable set up for consistent TV reception. Pulls in distant signals up to 75 miles without a large antenna. Very good antenna for digital TV reception. Large gain but small antenna. Excellent.

I wasted countless dollars on multiple antennas chasing a inexpensive solution for OTA channels. If I had just spent the dough on this first I would have saved myself money and been enjoying the stations all this time. Other small indoor antennas received some channels but required fiddling with to receive other channels. It was a constant back and forth game I was always losing. Now I receive all of my local channels and never have to mess with the placement again.

We live near the mountains and had a hard time getting the regular channels (NBC, ABC,CBS AND FOX). We tried many other antennas but could only get 1 channel and many Mexican channels. We finally got this antenna and now we can get most of the regular channels (still can't get 58). This antenna saved us from getting cable just to get the free channels!

Recently cancelled Dish, and moved to this. We are still in the city but 40 miles from the towers. Works great. Connected it to the mainline and installed it where the dish was. We get about 40 channels not including the all the church and Spanish channels. All the local news channels come in HD. Pretty easy setup.

We , like many others got feed up with Comcast /Xfinity rates. We cut the cable and needed an antenna. After reading reviews and talking to the excellent staff at Best Buys (thanks David) We choose this antenna. My clumsy husband was able to mount and install this antenna. We immediatly got 47 channels. We added a Roku and don't even miss cable!

Great signal if your tv is 15-20 ft. away from it. My daughters tv is getting 46 channels the other two it is hooked up to are only getting 25. I am guessing a signal booster or amp would probably cure that. Great picture though and have not lost a signal yet in the month we have had it. Five stars if I could get the same amount of channels on all tv's.

Only drawback is we may live to far from the city. We have to move it around to bring in different channels

I am 50+ miles away from most of the towers and this powerful antenna picks up a lot more channels than I thought. I installed inside the attic to avoid wind disturbing antenna direction. Added a pre-amplifier and now getting crisper HD channels. Best of its kind. Don't give up when you don't get expected number of channels. The trick is finding the right spot. I took my time and I get 15+ HD channels and tons of other channels. Highly recommended.

We lost internet/digital TV during a recent hurricane. I put this antenna together and mounted to a stone paver and set it up in my front lawn. I got all major local stations in HD and many others I didn't know about. We were able to keep up with the latest news and watch a few football games. I might just cut the cable cord and just use this antenna. Images were in uncompressed HD. Easy to set up and worth having when you lose cable.

I read some reviews and used Antennaweb.org to get an idea of what to expect. I was using an rca flat indoor antenna before that got me maybe 10 channels that would be blurry and cut out sometimes. The website said 40ish channels would come in. I actually get 62, most of the antennas are 36 miles away a couple are 47. I get great reception quite a few HD channels. Very happy with the purchase, it was the deal of the day picked it up for $90.

We were determined to "cut the cord". Tried the indoor type with limited success. Did more research and found this sweet piece of equipment! We live under a hill, in a heavily wooded area and we pick up a minimum of 35 HD over the air channels, crystal clear with no flickering, buffering, etc! Storms don't even affect our reception. Seriously, the quality of the picture is stunning! Absolutely THE BEST $150 we've spent in a LONG time!!

My location is notorious for bad antenna reception. The towers are about 50 miles away. So I decided to try this antenna and I get over 50 channels. A few pixelate but overall I am happy with the purchase. It is expensive, but so worth it not to send money to Direct TV or ATT. It came with everything needed for my rooftop installation.

I have this installed in my attic and it works very well. We are in the flight pattern when the clouds are low and we get interference (doesn't happen often) from the planes just as the old analog antenna provided. Have read that placing a screen above should help but have not tried that yet. We are happy with the way it works and have recommended to others interested in cutting the cord from cable/DirecTV/Dish and saving $180+ a month.

Good Attic Mount Antenna for me

I wanted an attic mount antenna to replace a roof mount antenna removed when my roof was replaced. Reviews indicated this would be a good choice. Found this antenna as an open box, and the price was great, compared to regular price. No problems so far, and I can augment my Dish Network system with HD local stations from 60 miles away.

Works great in good weather, but during winds, rain or periods of snow, it is no better than a satellite dish. Picture goes digital and is unwatchable. I would recommend if you are trying to stay out of the cable or satellite rat race!

I am 40 miles out of Chicago and have major power lines about 1 mile away and this pulls in 45 Channels solid. Tried the Mohu leaf and that did not work well for me but works well for my parents. This is also mounted in-house (vaulted ceilings with lots of high ledges) and I painted all the silver items black and it looks like modern art LOL.
