Its shape and structure make it literally flexible and also allow it to be easily moved and placed anywhere for the best channel reception. Depending on needs, I either hook it on a small wall picture next to the TV, on a small nail behind a bookshelf, or I just drape it over the bookshelf. Its portability combined with surprising reception ability allows me to clearly lock in channels that previously were mere rumors whispered by my on-screen channel guide.

The tv this antenna is on is a brand new Samsung HDTV Smart TV but still freezes up or pixelates frequently. Often in the middle of a show, the picture disappears and a pop-up box says there is a weak or no signal. My advice: go with Mohu instead of this brand. The tv the Mohu is attached to is an older well-used Samsung HDTV.

Best Buy has them, but that would cost another $80 (more than the antenna itself).

Posted .So sorry it didn't work on your TV. Digital converter boxes are available to give older TV's extended life. June 12, 2009 most all full powered broadcasters shut down their analog transmission and were transmitting in digital broadcasts only. The digital transmission requires an ATSC tuner.
The federal government mandated TV's manufactured after the following dates include an ATSC tuner.
• By July 1, 2005 all televisions with screen sizes over 36 inches (91 cm) must include a built-in ATSC DTV tuner
• By March 1, 2006 all televisions with screen sizes over 25 inches (64 cm) must include a built-in ATSC DTV tuner
• By March 1, 2007 all televisions regardless of screen size, and all interface devices that include a tuner (VCR, DVD player/recorder, DVR) must include a built-in ATSC DTV tuner.
