I bought this since I don't watch much tv and to save money since I have Hulu, Netflix, etc. It works great, especially for picking up free channels instead of paying an arm and a leg for cable I would rarely watch

Although not truly bidirectuonal, as advertised, it does pull in the stations when facing properly.
Being able to stick it on the wall cr window really helps. We've had other antennas and this one works the best.

I purchased the item in order to improve my television reception. I cannot afford cable. The salesperson & the package blurb stated that it would pick up stations within 50 miles & that I would not have to move it for the different stations. Sorry!! It doesn't pick up stations within 50 miles. There are local stations in the Tampa area that it has problems with, picture breaking up or no picture at all. I live about 1 mile south of Busch Gardens & I have trouble picking up channel 8 (NBC) and, sometimes, channel 10 (CBS). I know Lakeland is within 50 miles of where I live & I can't get ANY Lakeland stations.

I have a $10 antenna that performs just the same as this one does. The only advantage to this antenna is the way it can be mounted flush on the wall rather than the clunky kickstand style antenna I had before.

This one is okay. I replaced a Radio Shack antenna that was getting 14-15 channels, down from the 30+ it got on the first scan.
This antenna got over 40 channels including the local NBC and ABC affiliates - which my prior antenna did not get.
However, this antenna, like the two I tried previously, got far more channels on the first scan, and gradually lost about 1/3 of them over time (2-3 weeks). I don't know why this happens.
Bottom line, despite losing channel reception, is that this is still an above average antenna for me, and I like the window mounting design.

So this antenna is very flexible (figuratively and literally). It's adhesive makes it easy to reposition to find the best reception. Comes with small amplifier if needed. I get about 10+ channels that varies because of the location in my apartment. The closer to a metro area you are the better this product (as with any antenna). Overall it's good for the price. And plus the wife likes it as it is able to stick on the wall and not look out of place with the rest of the decor!

Antenna reception is dependent on where the broadcasting towers are in relation to your set and your antenna - my circumstance & towers ended up with the amplified antenna getting more channels unplugged than amplified. So you have to experiment. None of the instructions told you about that result; I googled it and found that recommendation. Plus, if you use a converter for HD you will only get 480i instead to true HD so your set must have a tuner - sets after 2009 have tuners.

I don't have another antenna to compare to, but it worked just fine for me with no set up problems at all. I found the best reception just by holding it, turning slowly around and finding the sweet spot.

We now use this as a backup for over the air HD signals, as we have cut the cord from cable tv. It is powered, so the signals are amplified and if placed on a high, clear window - the reception is good.

My cable bill went up 25% one month without consent on same service due to a corporate buyout. Finally had enough, and went to Best Buy to see what the options were. This unit attracted my eye as it light in color and unobtrusive in a contemporary setting. Really great purchase. I do have tv tower stations about 30 miles away. Only one of my ' go to' channels does not come through. Have discovered some other channels just as good if not better. I liked this unit so much I bought a second one for my bedroom. No more cable bill. Ever. Awesome.

I live around DC and I am able to get about 30 channels on here. However only about 10 will usually work perfectly. It does work indoors and I use it indoors. It might work better if you are not living downtown and can keep the Antenna somewhere outside so it gets a better reception. If you have an xbox one, I would highly recommend you to get the Hauppauge - Digital USB TV Tuner for Xbox One. This will connect and work with this Antenna and you will be able to get a TV guide in the xbox and use voice commands to change channels. Excellent combo.

It's a good antenna, but a little bit expensive. Also I still have problems with the signal. Maybe is the building where I live. Definitely is better than the other one that I had.

It works great as long as its not windy or stormy outside. Still trying to figure the best location of antenna without the picture going in or out.
