Regardless, not a good device for me.

Currently my reception isn't too bad but it could be better. I purchased this item and hooked it up right away. It was a clear calm sunny day. I actually was drew in fewer channels than I previously had with my old antenna. The channels I was getting were not the greatest. I live within 10 miles of transmitter - so this should have worked. I returned it and attached my old rabbit ear antenna-its not pretty but it works!

It didn't make a different if I used the attachment piece because I still couldn't get good reception. I figured I would take down the other antenna I had because this one looked better but I was wrong. I should have sent it back but I waited to long to pack it up. I brought a antenna from bed,bath and beyond that was better than one. Very disappointed. I wouldn't recommend it all.

Posted .Thanks for trying the Eclipse. If you are close to the towers an antenna with less gain may have been all you needed to get everything available in your area.

Move the antenna up higher on your wall or window (not behind a metal window screen) as trees and building block the signals and see if that helps your reception. There are a few things that can be causing signal interference. You cannot simply move the antenna and expect the signals to stop breaking up. Posted .Try moving the antenna up higher on the wall and then scan for channels ever time you move the antenna. Channels will still break up until you scan for channels. After being on the phone with tech support for over 2 hours (and they could not get it to pick up any channels either), their "solution" was to recommend their $150 roof-mounted super - mega model. Nice. It may work great, but it didn't work at all for me.
