Best for the area I live in

I was going through old reviews, and I didn't see one for this, I may have forgotten. I bought this some time ago, and where I live, I only get 3 channels due to the hills blocking the transmitters but for 1 or 2, but that's ok without trying to buy something really expensive. If I were to live in town, that's another story. Normal TV really doesn't have much around here anyway, and all I do use it for is the local news, daytime TV, some sports, other things that are aired. We don't have cable out here, yet. That may be in the future if Charter decides it's worth it. Anything else, is on Amazon, basically anything that uses Internet, and my DVD collection, pushed to the TV. So it does the job.

I was skeptical buying this antenna. I'm 30 miles away from downtown St. Louis where the broadcast antennas are located and it picked up every local channel flawlessly. I was pleasantly surprised.

    Surprisingly Good

After moving, it didn't work as well as at the previous house, with few channels and some pixelation, so I bought another unit from another vendor for about twice the price, but it worked even worse, so I sent it back. I placed this one in the attic, and now I get plenty of pixelation-free channels.

Cut the cable and purchased this antenna and been very happy ever since. It picked up all the 15 channels that were on the box and I live in a valley difficult for signals to pick up! It was very simple to install I connected my TV splitter for 2 TV's one in the parlor the other in the kitchen by using the cable that was used for the Cable TV that I cancelled saving $250 a year! Well Worth The Money! YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!

    Rabbit Ears 4x Better

I bought both this antenna and the cheap Insignia rabbit ears. In short, the rabbit ears trounced this "amplified" antenna. I have TVs upstairs upstairs and downstairs. I figured I'd use this antenna for the downstairs TV and the rabbit for the upstairs where reception is likely better. Well, this thing got 4 channels downstairs. Rabbits: 12. Upstairs: this got 11. Rabbits: 30. The number don't lie. Save your money. Those big metal rabbit ears just work better.

    Goodbye Cable

I've been waiting to cord cut because I love TV. With this I get almost as many channels as I did for $275 bucks a month. I can not get over how clear the picture is. Why didn't I have this before?

    Doesn't work at all

This antenna is useless. I tried every position around the house and got zero channels every time, even with the amplifier connected. I dug up an old RCA un-amplified HD antenna that I had forgotten about, and it got 16 channels right away in exactly the same spot where this antenna got zero channels. I'll be return this to the store.

    $60.00 Piece of Garbage.

Can pick up 1 out of 6 local stations within a 20 mile radius. Absolutely worthless pointing any direction, with the extender on. I would sooner recommend this to someone I wanted to have a heart attack than a friend.

DON'T BUY IT! Buy an outdoor antenna. It's just as bad as any other indoor antenna you've tried before.
