No more cable tv

Well...2 months later I'm still deciding without feeling the pressure to sign up with another cable provider or a streaming service.

Kind of pricey for what this truly is. I could get only 3 channels from it. I think my review would be different if I was using this antenna in the country somewhere. Downtown or close to other structures, this is not worth it.

Posted .Hi there! We are very sorry to hear our ClearStream MAX-XR Complete is not bringing in more channels. We are here to help! There are a few tips to try before purchasing a new antenna. 1st, please try performing a channel scan without the included amplifier. Over-amplification can occur if you are trying to use an amp too close to the broadcast towers and could very well make your signal reception worse. 2nd, please be sure to place your antenna up high. Towers are 1500 feet up in the air. Most of those signals are not pointing down, so we always recommend placing the antenna up as high as possible to achieve the best signal reception. If these tips do not help, please contact our Customer Care Team at 877-825-5572. We will troubleshoot the antenna for you to help pinpoint what the problem could be. We will also have tips on how to improve your reception in general while facing certain obstacles. We are available Monday-Friday to help! Thank you.
Poor reception

UHF reception was accceptable but VHF reception was non-existent. I had to research more options and was forced to use an alternative product.

It didn't work indoors & there's no way that I have the capability to install something against my house. In the end I called a guy who installed a different antenna for me. I called him "Mr.".

Sturdy and built well

I have it inside near a window and the reception is not as good as my square plastic one hanging in my window. Probably would be better if outside on roof.

We live less than the requested distance from a very major city! I'd say only buy it if you lived right in the major city.

We have years of experience judging satellite overviews to estimate the signal blockage caused by obstructions such as trees, foliage, buildings etc... these obstructions will block signals and cause interference with other signals. Then we use information that you provide for your installation to finalize our recommendations on why you are not receiving more channels. No improvement to indoor flat antenna

Tried to replace flat indoor antenna, but daw a very modest quality increase, but no additional channels, despite charts indicating many more should be receivable. May try to mount externally, but trial got fewer channels.
