Customers are saying
Customers are impressed with the ClearStream Micron Indoor Long-Range Digital TV Antenna's reception, picture quality, and ease of use. Many appreciate its ability to pick up a good number of channels and its relatively compact size. However, some customers found the signal strength inconsistent and a few felt the price was a bit high for the performance. The length of the included cable was also a point of concern for some users.

TV turns on and off
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It works great most of the time except that it constantly causes my TV to turn on and off. I never had this issue prior to this antenna and when I'm not using the antenna my TV doesn't do this. For whatever reason my TV will just randomly turn on and off when using the Antenna. It drives me crazy and I cannot imagine it is good for my TV. Anyone have any suggestions to fix this?

Great for picking up local channels
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I originally bought this for my Summer cottage. The only channel it could pick up was FOX network. There are too many trees and we could not get reception. We brought it home to Easthampton and used it on a TV in the bedroom. It gets 25 channels so we didn't need to connect the cable there. It's great if you have Dish Network and they don't include the local channels.

Love it - bought 2 of them
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love it. Have 2 of them. One on a bedroom tv and one in the living room on a splitter where 1/2 signal goes to the TV and the other half goes to my HD HomeRun so my iPad and iPhone can watch TV too!

much better
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.we tried out a cheap $30 antenna and it was terrible so we tried this one and it seems to do the job about 90% of the time with no issues. would buy another if needed.

Basic reception antenna
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After killing the cable, we needed something to be able to receive our local channels. We have a 20+ year old set of rabbit ears that we had been using, but I was looking to upgrade to something better. After reading the reviews on this product, I thought it might be the one. It turns out this antenna actually gets us less channels than our good old rabbit ears. We thought about returning it, but decided to use it on our upstairs TV instead. It is very lightweight and less conspicuous than the rabbit ears. If you are looking for a basic antenna, I would suggest the $15 rabbit ears because you won't get any more channels with this product.

Get rid of cable
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the best thing to do away with cable and the monthly bill that comes with it. Just point it in the general direction and it picks up enough channels to keep a channel surfer happy. I loose some channels periodical and then have to reprogram the TV to get the channels back.

Looks nice but rabbit ears work better.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did not expect this to work great, however, I hoped it would work at least as well as the old twin extending rod antenna (rabbit ears) and it would look nicer. Based on the lost channels and the signal strength meter in my television, the rabbit ears worked significantly better. I took the antenna back and upgraded to a bigger one I could mount outside.

Crystal Clear Digital Images
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Set up was super simple. I connected the hdtv antenna to my Sony LED HDTV, started the auto program to pick up digital channels (47 total on the South Side of Chicago, Midway Airport) and all the channels were crystal clear. I bought this antenna to prepare to cut the cord on Direct TV, which I will do since I subscribe to Netflix, and Hulu Plus and stream through my Sony BDP-S570 blu ray player. I am happy with my "digital" clear images and look forward to saving money by cutting the expensive cable bill!

Great antenna if you are near a tower
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I dont have a tower within 30 miles of my house, but I did use it at a football game that was closer. The picture was good and did not cut out at all. Just make sure there is a clear line of site to the tower.

Not all that great
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I live within 15 miles of the transmitters in my area.. this antannae picks all the signals up.. but I get a constant annoying freezing and breakup of the signal.. I live with no trees near me.. and the antannae is located closest to the outside wall of the home.. We live in a fairly flat area.. not densly wooded.. there are some trees about 2-300 yards in the direction of the signal.. but nothing that would block close access.. not happy at all with the reception. I don't mind having fewer channels than cable.. just wish I could get them without all the breakup!

Thank goodness for 30 day return policy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I ditched cable and direct tv to save some money this year. I have my xbox hooked up with netflix, so we get all our movies from there. But I missed watching the morning news every day so I though I would get one of these antennas. I bought this piece of junk and tried it everywhere in the house, even installed it in the attic tied to the cable line, and unfortunately the signal was still having tons of issues. If you like to watch your TV one pixel at a time, this is great for you. If you live inside a major city it might work well for you, but for me, just outside it doesn't work worth a dang.

Not a great antenna for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We got both this antenna and the much cheaper RCA - Indoor Off-Air HDTV Antenna, and the RCA worked a lot better. The ClearStream is easy to set up, and has a better aesthetic than the RCA, but we couldn't get NBC at all, and ABC didn't have sound. The RCA isn't pretty, but we got all the channels and it's a fraction of the price of the ClearStream.

Good antenna
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this antenna on a one day deal, hoping for a little boost vs my Mohu leaf. I am about 50 miles out from NBC, and it was a bit of a reach for it to get it, but I tried anyways. It didn't get NBC, but I took it to my folks house and all the channels came in beautifully. If you are in the mile range of this antenna you will love it!

Working like a charm
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As we are not on cable or satellite, we barely have time to watch to the free local channels, we simply required an antenna that would bring in clear signals for the HD channels. We are about 20 miles from the towers. This antenna is doing the trick. We actually purchased 3 more.

Pretty good
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this antenna because of the sleekness, and slender, Pretty satisfied for what it picks up. Thought i would get more channels. It was cloudy first day i set the channels, i did get more when i did it again on a sunny day

A great cost saver
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This antenna helped get us through the NCAA basketball tournament when the other cable/satellite companies could not install in a timely manner. The cost of this product was less than we would have paid for cable/satellite.

It works in a pinch!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I moved into a new home where there is nothing but electric coming to my home and the providers for TV reception (both cable and satellite) all have excuses for getting me hooked up. So after 2 months of fighting this (called each about 2x a week), I just bought this antenna. I chose this particular model mostly because everything else is a 'special' order or has to be bought sight unseen, off the web. It's okay, but I cannot sit and enjoy a single hour or even a 30 minute show without it cutting in and out, regardless of the station, unless it is perfectly clear, without a cloud in the sky and without a single airplane flying over the area. Heck even sometimes when a large bird flies over it cuts out! There is the ability to get about 38 stations MOST are PBS type stations, spanish or asian. There are occasions when ABC, CBS, FOX, ION, CW and NBC come in, but so far they have never been in at the same time. Kind of funny since I'm only 20 minutes from DC and 5 minutes from Baltimore. Would I recommend this to anyone else: yes if they have no other options. At my previous home I was a Dish Network customer. The quality of the picture is comparable but, the availability of the signal (up time) was much better with Dish Network (this antenna is worse than Dish). Hope this helps
