I bought it as an upgrade to the basic model. I didn't notice much of a difference between the two. I live in a large urban area, and I should not have difficulty receiving local channels, but I still have problems with jumpy pictures and positioning the antenna just right to pick up certain stations. It works, but It was not worth the extra investment

I am tired of paying for cable. I tried another model from the same company but only picked up 3 channels. i tried this antenna and BAM! I got 8 channels. Sure, it is not 20-40 channels but I have the main channels. Perfect!!

It's nice getting channels with not having to pay for them. We only get about 25 channels but that's plenty for us.

I love how the reflector snaps into place in the stand. I wish the antenna did also. makes moving the unit a bit awkward and sloppy.

Put it in the attic. Cut off cable. Works great. Surprised with how many channels we get & how clear it is. Some issues during a bad thunderstorm.

Needed a long range antenna for the beach instead of paying for rediculously priced cable. The old rabbit ear antenna required rotating the ears for different channels. This multi-directional antenna solved the problem.

I was tired of paying satellite fees, playing the game, going back and forth, 12 months at this price, then get racked. This picks up local channels, plus their side channels with some cooking shows and old movies and sitcoms, without running cables all over. I plan to get an outside antenna eventually and move this one to my workout room.

This device is very useful for those of us who do not want to mess around with rooftop antennas. It may have to be re-oriented, depending upon what stations one wants to receive. It's a good value for the money.

We have Direct TV in our house and bought this to put in our game room just so that we did not have to pay to have another receiver installed. The picture quality is good and clear and we do not mind the lag that occurs every once in a while. Just disappointed that we can only get two channels. Would have hoped for a few more at that price.

This antenna was our third attempt at finding a good indoor antenna that wouldn't lose signal when someone walked through the room. This one is the winner! I have since purchased one for my daughter and plan to purchase a second one for our other TV. If you are like many of us that want to quit paying for cable TV, this antenna is worth the cost.

Outstanding picture that makes me feel like I'm at the theater. Only downside is the remote. Though it was really straight-forward to add devices, it has taken a lot of effort to figure out.

The amount of channels it picks up truly amazed me. I had no idea that digital TV culd travel so well. Sure beats the old analog days. Now with 6 choices of PBS I won't miss Downton Abbey or Sherlock. Yeah!!!

I purchased this item with the hope that it would help me to receive the signal for additional channels. Unfortunately it did not help. The signal strength appeared to be the same as the previously used antennae. I returned the product and settled on the fact that I am just unable to watch certain channels in that particular room.
