Customers recognize Anthem's fun and smooth core gameplay, praising the exhilarating flying mechanics and the immersive open world. However, they also point to issues such as lengthy loading times, a lack of content at launch, and persistent bugs affecting the overall experience. The beta was not a test run, it was a full demo
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the result of downloading a Warframe template and trying to cram as much of Destiny into it as possible. It will not take long before you are introduced to all of the ways premium content will be offered. You will meet that one memorable NPC that somehow ended up in a room full of nameless others sending you on a guided story. You can even explore the landing area that is nearly identical to those found in Destiny, but on a much smaller scale. Once you get into actual battle, beware actually picking up any items that aren't consumable because the dialog accompanying them will overtake the screen and leave you taking damage until you close it. The automated matchmaking can be a blessing for finding those extra players for a mission, but all it takes is one overzealous player to send you into a loop of loading screens as you are "transported to the mission area" because they went a few feet ahead. Rest assured, if you are idle for more than 90 seconds, the game will kick you for inactivity. Having played all of the games that appear to be inspirations for this one, I am confident that the developers completely disregarded player response and put all of their effort into making the game look good on paper. The graphics and even the mechanics are great in battle. I'm sure if you ask nicely, that guy almost 3 maps ahead of you may even let load once so you can try it. Once you finish the mission, you will be returned to the Tower to meet Cayde-6 and... Wait, wrong game. You will return to talk to the NPC that looks like she was part of a rendering test for what should have been a much more realistic scene about how you need to go on another mission.

Short game, TERRIBLE load times
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.maybe the load times will be patched after launch, but as it stands now, you're going to be loading the game as much as playing it. The game is unfinished with little content, gameplay and RPG elements are incredibly shallow. End game content is a joke, all are reused assets that you have already seen hours before. Game is pretty, when you're not loading it. Do yourself a favor and get Warframe, Destiny 2, or Borderlands 2 instead of this. All of those mentioned are much more polished and satisfying as looter-shooters

Feels like Iron Man!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was skeptical cause of the mixed reviews. But I love the way it feels when controlling your character. Definitely feels like Iron man. Graphics are great. Action is similar to destiny, but 3rd person instead.

Typical EA
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What more else is there to say, you pay $60+ to beta test this game and they'll finish it over the next year or two through patches.

great with friends
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is a really fun game. Yes, it has a few issues but it happens... and they are listening to the player base for fixes (unlike other games, looking at you For Honor and any Bethesda game) and all DLC will be FREE. Many people are being overly dramatic about negative things it has only been out a few days.
