Curved monitor all you need

AOC C27G2 LED Curved FHD Monitor

The electrical cord hook up is too big on the monitor. It gives wiggle room for the cord to come loose. I have to be really careful I don't move anything around it. I did go back to Best Buy and exchanged my cord for one from an opened monitor; I continue to have the same problem. I like the stand on this monitor. It goes up and down easily. My LG monitor, however, was a little clearer. But for the price this monitor is not bad. My LG had speakers built into it. This monitor does not have speakers, but that is a plus because my speakers sound much better than the LG's speakers. All in all, if it did not have the problem of the electric cord jiggling around making the screan go black, I'd buy this monitor again.

Completely changed my view on curved monitors, I love this monitor so much that my dog broke it and I went out that same day and got a new one because I couldn’t go back.

Best investment for the price

He had never had a monitor specifically for gaming. After his first time using it he bragged to everyone about how much of a world of difference it made. He plays a lot of call of duty and I could hear him saying “I can actually see people, this is so much better” I wasn’t sure if it was a good purchase at first, but now I’m really happy I got it. Would recommend to everyone especially if you got a significant other who play games and you need an idea for a birthday gift.

This monitor takes some getting used to, as it is a curved display. It also takes some getting used to NOT looking at a curved display (as in my case). That being said, when I was using it daily I liked it. The colors were good, viewing angles good, brightness surprisingly good. Gaming wasn't all that great. A lot of "smearing" and the pixels are kinda big at 27" 1080p. The stand is way better than most. You can raise/lower, tilt the display forward/backward, and swivel left/right. Very easy to adjust to the perfect viewing angle. Overall it's on ok monitor. There are better for more and less. This one falls in the middle. I did get it on sale @$179.99, and have not seen this monitor go down past $210 since November. For the price I purchased this monitor for, I'd say it's a definite buy. At $280, it's a hard recommendation.
