Q: Does this monitor have SOUND? and how do you enable it?
A: It does not have any built in speakers
A: Yes, it is G-Sync and FreeSync compatible
A: Yes. You can use a PS4 with it. It has 2 HDMI ports. I have my PS4 and Xbox hooked up to it and it is amazing.
Q: This is a G1 not a G2. It does not have 1440p like the G2.
A: This is the 2nd Generation of the 1080 version of the monitor which has the 165Hz Panel.
Q: Can you get the full 165hz through the hdmi cable?
A: I just hooked it up through HDMI to confirm yes you can.
Q: Would this monitor be good with either the Xbox series or ps5? Does it have a hdmi 2.1?
A: This monitor has an HDMI 2.0. I would honestly recommend this monitor out of any though because HDMI 2.1 won't be coming out until at least Q2 of 2021 and even then it would be at least double the price of a ps5. With this monitor since its HDMI 2.0, you can play at 1080p 120 fps but with HDMI 2.1 it has the bandwidth to do 4k at 120fps. So you can choose whether or not you want to get this monitor but I highly recommend if you want to play 1080p 120 fps
Q: Does this monitor go vertical on stock stand?
A: No only up and down with tilting also.
