The monitor itself is great, works for what I need it for and I’m actually thinking of getting another to match. The only reason it’s 4 stars is because it randomly sleeps every few minutes mid game or movie and I haven’t figured out a fix yet:/

I bought this as an upgrade to my work office. In my 50's and the Industry specific financial program and excel files are complex and small font on the company provided monitor. This is an amazing upgrade that has made everything so much easier to see. After seeing mine a few others in the company are upgrading to this as well. It may be overkill with technology that we don't necessarily need with our tasks, but the screen is great!!

I purchased a AOC CQ27G1 (note the Q in the model) from microcenter for a similar price and decided I wanted to get a second monitor and had points to use. I didn't notice this is the C27G2, rather than CQ27G2. the big difference is this monitor only goes to 1920x1080. The CQ models go to 2560x1440. This model has a slightly higher refresh rate, but the CQ is only about 20 mhz faster. They have the same response rate. I'd rather get the higher resolution. This is a really good monitor - its exactly what it says it is and the AOC monitors are nice. I love this form factor. I just really hate that I spent the same money on a monitor with half of the max resolution from the same brand. I was moving and didn't open it for about a month - wish I had noticed earlier. I would have returned it.

Great monitor for the price and pushes 120hz. I can’t complain about this monitor I’m very pleased with my purchase
