Works well as a battery backup. no problems so far, but no power outages yet.

This backup does exactly as it should. I have key things plugged into the battery part and not as important plugged into the surge side. My area gets lots of power surges and this is doing a great job protecting against those hurting my equipment.

Great backup and surge protector at a great price for small businesses

Roomy, accomodates bigger plug and plugs are spaced apart well. Reliable. Been using nearly a year. (Don't jinx me now, electric gods.)

I had a power outage the other day and my computer went off and on several times. A quick off-on of the power is a very sure way to do damage to any appliance. I use QuickBooks and it caused a malfunction in the program. I had a surge protector on the computer but it doesn't protect from a quick off-on of the electricity. So I bought a battery backup so the next time there is a power failure with a quick off-on of the electricity, my battery backup will keep the computer from going off and back on quickly causing more potential damage.

This is the third APC surge/backup unit I have purchased. One of the three was a replacement when my first unit's battery died. While I believe that battery life should have been longer, I am overall pleased with the performance for price with this brand. I gave this purchase only a "good" because I have yet to see how long and how well it will do its job.

Need for Point of sale system & works fine no problems setting up.

This is my second purchase of this item. The first protects my cable modem, printer, router and other network accessories. Seven years and I have just replaced the battery. This purchase will protect my entertainment center. I live out in the country where power is sometimes sketchy, and I'm certain these have prevented me from the need to replace equipment due to the numerous brown-outs that we suffer through.

Decent battery backup for the price. Would recommend to a friend

I purchased this strictly for my modem and router. I have a 1500 APC UPS for my computer but it didn't make sense not to have something for the network. Just in the past month, I have had two hits on my power which I would have had to wait for everything to come back up. I also get brownouts and this protects them from damage. I had another unit on these but the battery failed after two years. I am a long time user of APC UPS's and I am disappointed in myself in trying to go cheap when this was available at a relative inexpensive solution.

The power supply has just enough outlets to suit my purposes.

These are great, we have power blinks many times a week and they always seem to come when you really don't want them, like when downloading updates ! Not a worry anymore. I now have 3 of these and always will, need I say more.

This has been a great purchase so far. I would purchase again.
