We use APC backup products throughout our company. We have found them to perform at a reasonably high level of reliability. While my last battery backups life was a bit shorter than expected I would continue to recommend them as a solid option.

We purchased this to smooth out the power flux our area was having due to high winds. Those annoying little blink of the lights that mess up computers, X-Boxes and so on. It can get expensive replacing hard drives when your stuff gets zapped enough. Surge protectors here were just not enough. This unit has your devices running off of battery power all the time it is charging, so you never notice those little snaps nor do your electronic devices. It is has a surge protector as well as the uninterrupted power supply. Plug your modem and WiFi into it as well.

The APC - Back-UPS 450VA Network 40 UPS is still going strong. When we get power outages, it gives us plenty of time to save what we're working and safely shutdown the computer.

We bought this to back up our cordless phone and our wifi. We also have an ooma phone system and this backs it up as well. Peace of mind in being able to have VoIP phone and still have power interruption protection.

It's nothing fancy but the price is right, it works as it should and is reliable. This is my second one. Other models provide more features but there's something to be said for "set and forget".

APC makes quality products, I owe several of them.

I use this to protect the one of my four computers, the software included is easy to set and forget, protects my computer from data corruption due to improper shutdown in case of an extended power outage.

This is the second battery backup that we have purchased. Our first one lasted many years. After the battery failed, we decided to buy another unit instead of just replacing the battery.

This ups works perfectly. And for the price. What a great buy. So glad I bought this instead of a cheap surge protector strip. Thanks Best Buy for having this unit on sale when I needed it.

Bought this so I wouldn't have to reset my DVR when the power goes out during a storm. Works good so far. It does beep when there is a power surge or disruption which is a little annoying
