Must Have For Home Electronics
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A few years ago my entire home entertainment system was fried by long term "Dirty Power", ie micro power drops that are not protected by traditonal surge protectors. Based on a suggestion from work friends I added an APC. The device conditions power by running it into a battery first. When it detects a power drop the battery kicks in. No more destroyed and burned plugs/adapters. Highly recommended especially for TVs, Consoles and Computers.

Great back-up

It was easy to set up and so far has worked just as described. We've had a couple storms knock out power for a few minutes at a time. We have heard the alarm on the back-up battery as expected. So far it is doing as "promised" and we hope to have a good 2-3 years of use from it. We shall see.
