This works well and is reliable. I think you get what you pay for.

We went for a unit that provides backup capability before losing data, which is much different than just 'surge' protection or a power strip. The peace of mind that work can be saved before everything shuts down is worth the extra cost. No power loss, so far, so we don't have experience with the actual function in that scenario.

My old battery backup system failed after several years and I needed a replacement quickly. This model has just the capacity I needed and it was even on sale. I was able to quickly pick it up in the store (after a sales associate tracked it down for me!) and get my systems back in service. APC is a trusted name and has served us well.

APC is my brand of choice. I have used another major brand and have had issues. I bought this as a UPS for our NAS server in a small municipal office. Works well. Hearing a beep every now and then lets me know the power is not what it should be and we would be having issues accessing data on our computers without the UPS.

This back-up protector works great even though I didn't notice that it was a network protector. My pc is not part of a network. The difference is in what connectors they give you to connect to your equipment. There are also a couple of other ports on the back-up that is unnecessary if not used in a network situation.

Always have backup for emergencies, and protection.

I like using these UPSes for power conditioning/protection for PCs. Good for a PC setup (PC tower, 2 monitors, phone charger because everyone plugs it in.) I would make sure no one is plugging space heaters or anything like that in it. You'll get enough to save work and shut down, or protect against dirty power.

I bought this for my 90+ year old stepmother to provide backup power for her I've Fallen & I Can't Get Up base station. It's hard to believe that the vendor of the product does not provide that in the event of a power failure. This company makes excellent UPS devices and this one was the right capacity for the right price. Good value.

One of the better units that I have used. Great for saving the computers at our rural job sites when that power goes out.

Open box special, very good price. There were a few pieces missing (manual) which I was not told about before purchase.
