Perfect size to support my ntwk equipment with a laptop

Needed a replacement for my old battery backup unit, which did not work. So far, so good. Reasonably priced.

Old APC - Back-UPS battery went bad. Couldn't find a new battery around town and would have had to mail order for one. Needed the unit for my dental office ASAP so bought this inexpensive one. The UPS it replaced was the same brand and model.

Purchased to backup the church office PC to avoid another abrupt power loss. The last abrupt power loss resulted in a damaged hard drive. This UPS works great and does just what it was designed to do. I've used many APC products in the past and they have always been reliable. This one is no different.

Bought this to protect a new >$3000 computer - 2 weeks later lightening struck the building. Ethernet cable at the wall was fried, but no damage to network cards or entire computer plugged into the UPS. Computers not backed up within the building lost network cards and monitors

Returned product because it was too heavy for my suitcase. Note the weight when buying.

This was a purchase for our home use. Easy to set up and affordable. Had used one like it in Africa.

I use these battery backups on every computer in my business. Here in Louisiana along the coast the power is constantly off and on. Having your computer stay on when the power goes off or fluctuates gives you the ability to save your work and shut your computer down correctly.

I bought this UPS and another one to replace older units that began chirping. This one is used with our phone system that goes whacko if the power fails. Plugged this one in and had no problems including a test to make sure it worked well. I am Very satisfied with this purchase.

There are less expensive powered backups, but I chose this one because it claims that the battery is user replaceable. This is my 3rd powered backup, and the first 2 just went into the trash because the battery was not serviceable. This one got an early test when the power went out less than 24 hours after I brought it home. It worked as it should, powering the internet modem and router and a sleeping Mac mini for about 20 minutes.
