Nice battery backup for my valuable electronics! it works like a champ

I got this Unit today and as soon as I unpacked it, I noticed that the Power Switch was not flush and jammed. Also where the Unit mates together, it was not aligned properly. At this point,let me say that I have 42 Years experience in Aviation Electronics and I know what I am doing. What I did next, I strongly advise anyone else not to do, just send it back and get a Refund or another one. APC designs these units that when you take them apart, they are a Nightmare to put back together because everything has to aligned perfectly when you try to to put it back together. That was the problem with this unit. After several attempts of repositioning Wires,etc.,I finally got everything right and it snapped together properly. I plugged it in , switched on Power and everything worked ok. And also this Model you cannot replace the Battery, but when I had it apart, it had a APC RBC17 Battery inside, but as I advise, do not attempt to take this Model apart, because you will regret it.

This holds backup for longer time. I naught this for business use and till date I have no issue

I bought this to use with my pretty expensive stereo electronics so I wanted to make sure it was protected but also receiving a consistent current load. Most APC product s are built like a tank and this is no exception , So far, I'm very happy with it.

This was a replacement. There was a huge thunderstorm and a lightning strike hit near us. Afterwards our television went silent and black. It turned out that the only thing that was damaged was our old APC UPS backup system. sll the devices we had plugged into it - our television, cable box, and sound system - were all fine. I ran over to Best Buy and picked up another one, plugged everything in to it, and we were back in business the same day.

The Apc-Back-UPS 900Va Battery is great it does its job it keeps things running when the power goes out until my standby Generator starts up.
