Space saving UPS

Trusted Brand Still Solid

I had two older ones that I replaced. APC made the battery replacement easier and I like the higher profile. It is great that a company listens to their customers and integrates these suggestions into their new specs.

This unit provided +5hrs uptime for a single network appliance. Purchased a second to see how long it maintains power fo a Mac and (2) monitors.

Keeps you up and running

Plan to wall mount it

But, if you are thinking of buying this, plan to mount it on a wall or something...There is "fuse" or something like it that plugs in to the bottom of the unit to enable the battery backup system. This "fuse" sticks out, so the unit cannot sit flat on the floor. Think of it like one of the four legs of a chair or table are not the same length as the other three, you get a rocking motion from the slightest touch.

Good battery backup surge protector

Living in the Northeast we have had to depend on them many times due to storms and power outages, and they have never let us down. In our experience, we have found that the units last about 7 years before they need to be replaced.
