Been using APC products for many years. This newer model style is much more user friendly to placing under a desk and not using floor space. Also like the way a simple tab is switched instead of opening to connect battery power cable.

This unit does pretty much what I need it to do. One thing to be aware of is that it doesn't have a USB data port like other similar APC units. This would come into play if you wanted to use this unit to connect to the PowerChute Windows software on a connected PC.

Works as advertised. The battery is small though so backup power only lasts for 10 minutes or so.

Needed for my Xbox and TV. In summer storms makes power go in and out and I would loose a game that I was in middle of, but no more.

I have been using APC products for a while now. I will purchase this version for something simple like a desktop/monitor/modem/ type setup to keep me up and running in case of power outages. You can replace the battery down the road when needed as well.

This is strong enough to power my PS5 and 65 inch TV I bought a second one for my desk. It powers a my desktop and monitors. My desktop has a overclocked Ryzen 1700 and 2080 super. No issues. My only issue is that it does not have a USB port for PC control. My old one had that so that I could see battery levels when the power cut off, it set it to shut down when the power cut off.

I have this attached to an OLED TV and PS5. It works great at around half the price of a gaming UPS. I had to move to the 900VA as my 600VA would not handle the PS5 on intensive games.

Use it for my room where I need a little extra to protect my computer, hard drive, router/modem, etc. Haven't had to use it too much but last time the power went out I was able to properly shut ally my stuff down because of the backup power.

The APC back-UPS works as advertised and is a 'must have' for home computing.

so far a good choice have to see how long it last !!!!

Product is what we were looking for.. Only issues we have, Did not know that these may give off some type of battery fumes, which may be BAD for us. The unit was purchase to provide backup to our CPAP units, which are located in our bedroom and very close to our heads. Best Buy, you need to have DAMGER NOTIFICANS posted all over , it you plan to use for some type of HUMAN SUPPORT MACHINES..

Using this unit to Power my Verizon home internet and to power my google nest securtiy system so that it remains 24/7 live if power goes put and keeps my internet going already had a outage that lasted around 4hrs and this thing keep those things powered along with charging a tablet and phone all very low power items but prefect for the form factor and purpose i use it for.

Took it home, plugged in the charge it, then plugged in my electronics (Mac, laptop, monitor, external backup). Simple; no issues. I've used APC UPS/Surge protectors for several years (have one on my router). Had the 450 for 3 years before the battery failed. Picked this one because the battery can be replaced. I also like the layout--plenty of space for large plugs. Can't rate it a 5 until I see how long it lasts.

This UPS is easy to set up, and has already prevented one "hard shut-down" of my computer when the power surged and went out. And replaces a power strip that I already had on my desk.

Excellent product. And, the service was excellent.

Provides power to my electronics when the power goes out!
