This UPS does not have a way for the UPS to communicate with the PC to let it know that power has failed and to shutdown. If you're protecting your HI-FI or TV that's not a problem, but a computer needs to shutdown or hibernate. Without that feature it's just a delayed but still unexpected crash when the battery discharges. It's odd that a unit with such a high VA rating doesn't have this.

Horrible Shipping

At this point I'm not sure if there is damage to actual product, but it is beyond my comprehension why you would send your product with such carelessness.
