I have tried the plugs to several different items and they just won't sink in all the way. So you only effectively have the use of 7 out of the 11 outlets.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this yesterday and on the usb ports tried to charge my ipad, and believe me there is not enough amps to do that can do the phone but you are in for a long long wait it does look nice but bought based on one review said they were 4 usb ports and there are only 2 also bought based on one review saying they were sliders to protect usb ports and the unused electrical outlets and also that is not true device not made what is stated and bought two so will just have to wait and see if keep

I ordered 2 protectors and both were defective
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I ordered 2 of these surge protectors and received them today. I was disappointed in their quality. They seemed quite flimsy. But the real problem is that there is an indicator on the protector that will indicate if you have overloaded the power strip. It will glow yellow. After just plugging in one item (a clock radio), the light started to dimly blink yellow. I then plugged in a TV and the yellow light became more intense. From the instructions it states that you must remove any items that cause the yellow light to come on. This means that I cannot plug anything into this power strip. The second one basically did the same thing although it did allow me to plug 2 items in before the yellow light indicator came on. I did use different electrical items and a different electrical outlet. I have to assume that both are defective if I can't even plug more than one item into it. I will be returning them to Best Buy as soon as I can.

Surge protection does not work when you need it
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used it for over 2 years for my AV equipment but there was a power failure 2 days ago and the screen panel of my $4000 Samsung 8k TV was damaged . I don't trust APC products any more!
