APC surge protectors tend to be top of the line; they have better placement of plugs, higher protection numbers for joules, and a better reputation as a company. This particular one is a great example of excellent design; it doesn't take up astounding amounts of space, but has -eleven- outlets plus 2 USB power ports. Just an amazingly useful protector. I would say it is worth full price which is $56, but I've waited with it in my "saved" items for sales and managed to get it for $40 or less a couple of times. With the number of electronics that I have and the number of surges we get in Iowa (due to storms etc), it's worth a few extra bucks for the peace of mind alone. I am hooking up a Switch, TV, Sound system, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Snes Classic, Analoge Mega SG, PS3, and sometimes more all to just one Surge Protector. Amazing.

I had previously only heard of APC surge/power protection devices in the context of commercial applications, but everything I had heard was always very good. Imagine my excitement to discover that they make products suitable for home use as well. Not only that, but the product comes with an excellent array of outlets (11!) arrayed both vertically and horizontally in order to make sure you have as many usable outlets as possible. On top of that they provide two USB ports that provide power suitable for rapid-charging at 3 amps and a recessed power switch...on the surface this might not seem like a big deal, but ask anyone who has ever accidentally shut down their computer by bumping the power strip, or because a pet or child bumped/stepped on it, how nice it is not to have to worry about it anymore. At any rate, the combination of a trusted brand and features that are both excellent and well thought-out, make this my favorite surge protector yet.

This thing is amazing. Long story short, a good portion of the electronics in my bedroom (tv, modem, router, Philips Hue bridge, alarm clock, etc) are nowhere near an outlet. Traditional surge protectors don't cut it because their cords are usually too short (4 feet won't reach where I need it to go), and you can't fit all of those bulky power transformers on one strip. The only bad thing about this surge protector is the price. Granted, the cheaper ones don't have the features I just raved about (nor the other features I haven't mentioned), but luckily when I bought mine Best Buy had it on sale for half off.

This is an awesome surge protector, and with the two USB ports, it eliminated the need to get an Apple charger for my mobile devices. I just got a longer cord, and that was it. Also with 11 ports, it provided ample room to plug other electronic devices besides my computer. I was able to plug my printer/fax, smart device, and even my lamp, with room for other devices should I need it. I highly recommend this product.

A very functional surge protector that has enough outlets for my needs. I think if you need more than 11 outlets for your TV setup, you need to look for something else. It has your typical mounting options, the ability to close unused outlets and even has two USB ports if you have items like stream sticks that need to be powered. The cord is very long and is also right-angled so that it’s not sticking out a lot. Recommended.

I recently purchased the APC SurgeArrest 11-Outlet PDU and wanted to share my thoughts with you. Overall, I'm very happy with the product. It's well-built and seems to be very effective at protecting my equipment from surges. I also like the fact that it has 11 outlets, which is more than I need. One thing to note is that the PDU is a bit bulky. It's not too bad, but it's definitely something to keep in mind if you're tight on space. Overall, I would definitely recommend the APC SurgeArrest 11-Outlet PDU. It's a great way to protect your equipment from surges and it's also very affordable.

Perfect for the kids room tv, multiple game systems, racing simulator, charging blocks. Plenty of outlets so i can space out the plugs and also has two usb ports as well. So far so good. No issues. APC has always been a good well known brand. Got it on sale for $33!! Now i want a few more for our other rooms.

Been using APC products for 25yrs and will continue. Had to upgrade my Monster surge protector for my home theatre setup and this unit fits the bill without a doubt. The configuration allows for up to 6 (maybe 7) power blocks or adapters plus 5 regular plugs. Space for my Wifi Smart outlets so that I can power one of my subwoofers and an external HDD that I store my movie collection on. The USB ports also come in handy when powering other devices like a Chromecast or Firestick leaving you more free outlets. There's nothing worse than getting home with, or more often now, receiving something in the mail, and getting to the back of your TV to set it up and finding that you have no more open outlets. This surge protector should be more than adequate to suit me for years to come.

It's been almost five years and is working perfectly. Plugged into an outlet that has some issues that has seen a TV break. Nothing plugged into this strip has had any issues like that.

Bought 2017 and still using it up to this date! 2024! No issues at all! Been using it for PC and its accesories and floor lamp and charging cables!

This surge protector outlet strip has plenty of outlets for connecting computers, and electronics. The 2 USB charge ports are handy for charging cell phones. The surge protection rating is also good with 2880 joules. The status indicators also give you assurance that the surge outlet protection is working.

This has been a worthy upgrade to the previous energy-saving power strip I was using. As the time working mostly from home has progressed, I have needed more outlets; having 11 is a great number! The design is great because it allows you to arrange your plugs of different sizes as you see fit. I have a different mix of bulky power bricks, two-prong and three-prong ones. This handles them all. Additionally, I like the position of the power switch - unlike my previous one, the liklihood of accidentally turning it off has been eliminated. I have not yet used the USB ports, but they are a welcome addition. To me, this also makes it ideal to take when traveling, as hotel rooms often don't have enough outlets. Plugging it in was easy, and the plug feels sturdy enough so that it won't easily pull out of the wall.

I purchased 2 of these surge protectors a few days ago to protect my home electronics, and computers. I was so impressed with these units, that I had purchased 2 more of them a few days later to protect the electronic equipment in my RV. Everything connected and plugged in very easily. I had no problems plugging in any of my electronics, nor did I have any faults detected once the device was powered on. The 6 outside outlets are perfectly spaced to accommodate power bricks, while the inside outlets are great for regular sized plugs. Having the 2 USB-A ports is also very convenient. I got all 4 of these strips while they were on sale, so I got a great bargain! I would recommend this product, as I have used APC surge protectors in the past, and I feel that they are a quality product.

I used this APC surge protector to replace a UPS that was going out. Really didn't need the UPS in this situation and this surge protector does a great job protecting the expensive devices connected to it and has as many outlets as the UPS did, all in a smaller package. $45 seems high, but if you think about the protection this can offer, it's well worth it.

This unit provides the surge protection you need, and gives you many added features. I like the sheer number of outlets it provides, as well as the fact that the outlets face different directions to allow for efficient use and allows for various types of plugs. The unit has USB ports to charge your phones & devices. The power cord is attached to the unit at a 90 degree angle (L-shape), and it swivels. This is ideal because I do presentations and I need to pack this unit into a tight space when I travel. I gave it 4 stars only because I haven't yet experienced a power surge.

I recently needed to replace some slightly older surge protectors, only 5-6 years old, but I like to keep my surge protectors fresh since they lose their effectiveness over time. I did quite a bit of research before ordering a pair of these APC Surge Arrest surge protectors. One thing that a lot of other users reported was that the little green light that inicated the power was on, was excessively bright, I do not agree with that. I feel they are no more dim, or bright than any other surge protector or power strip I've ever used. But that is my personal experience. The Surge Arrest is VERY effectively fulfilling it's role. The plug-in's are spaced very nicely, plenty of room. The 6 plug-in's (3 on each broad side) are sitting at just a slight angle, making the cleance of each port that much better. A surprisingly good feature of this protector is the clamping force in each receiver. When you stick a plug in there, it feels very secure! No wiggle, nothing falling out. Overall build quality is excellent, truely top notch. I'd expect nothing less of APC given their long history of well made products. If you need a surge protector of this caliber, do not hesitate, cease your searching and just buy the Surge Arrest by APC.

I bought the APC SurgeArrest 11-Outlet/2-USB Surge Protector on August 20, 2022, and I'm really happy with it. It has 11 outlets and 2 USB ports, so I can plug in all of my devices without any problems. I also like that it has a built-in circuit breaker to protect against overloads. I've been using the surge protector for a few months now and it's done a great job of protecting my devices from power surges. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable surge protector. Rating: 4 out of 5 stars.

I walked into Best Buy on a mission :)) I need a 6 foot quality surge protector with more then 6 slots to use. The Best Buy rep quickly gave me a overview on the available options and I picked the APC - Surge Arrest 11. Happily amazed the outlet also provided (2) USB charging ports, the layout of the 11 outlets made it possible for me to plug in bulky power plugs for WiFi Router, Modem, desk light, iMac and portable Artic Air air conditioner. with outlets to spare.
