I have always trusted APC for my power product needs--my computer's UPS has always been one of their models, and I have given their surge strips to my family on some occasions for their needs. When it came time to get a replacement for the surge strip I had been using for some of my A/V electronics, I sprang for this unit quickly. It has the outlets I need for all my devices in the part of the room where I use them, with adequate spacing around several outlets for bigger power adapters. The USB power outlets are also a nice touch, even though I currently have no need for them. I trust the brand for its reliability and protection, and I would not hesitate to recommend their products to anyone with similar needs.

So far so good!! I definitely enjoy the outlet spacing, and the usb has come in handy. Many of the smaller tech I have bought come with a usb attached cable ( I have plenty of matching wall usb hubs) so having the xtra usb on this outlet hub helps a ton. As far as protection goes... I often forget not to run heavy appliances at home surrounding the bedrooms since I am in a kinda old town house. When I forget (more often than I want to admit) , the entire bedroom floor shuts off LOL...... but still nothing has fried on my outlet hub. I am going to consider the bigger blocks later on.

This thing is a great value, and it has everything you need, 11 outlets, including USB ports, coaxial surge protection, and an angling cord for ease of use. The most outstanding feature is that the plug placement is very well thought out to deal with oversized power supply "bricks" from devices.

2800 joules! Great for all my entertainment center equipment. I even have 3 more thing I could plug it. It'snice to be able to close the open outlets and keep them dust free and prevent unintentionally poking. I like the USB ports for charging my remotes. The cord length is really long. My wall power outlet is directly behind my TV so I had to tie the slack up to keep it out of site. Feels really well manufactured. Heavy duty! There are 4 cross mounting holes on the back. I recommend this to everyone who need a bunch of outlets with great surge suppression.

Got first hand test first day I bought it! Literally! Few hours after setup and compared to my roommates big battery surge protectors, his stuff lost all power. Mine didn’t skip a beat. Great product and will come back when I need another!

The 11 outlet surge protector is one of the best I have owned. The spacing of the outlets along with their positioning allows for you to plug in bulkier type cords without always having to sacrifice the other surrounding outlets. I also really appreciate the 2 USB ports. I have one of these protectors out in the garage and have the water purifier, air compressor and Christmas lights all plugged in. Additionally, I use the USB ports to charge my phone while I'm outside and rechargeable bike lights. The only option they could add is pivoting outlets.

A lot of outlets that are well placed to allow for many transformers, a coupe of powered USB ports so you don't have to waste outlets for your phone and tablet chargers, and a reasonable price. I have three or four of this particular model--they replaced several APC that were old but still functioning well!! The only reason I bought these is because I was running out of outlets everywhere in the house that we had electronics.

I like the overall design of this surge protector—it’s sleek, does its job well, and I’ve had no problems with power or plugged-in devices. I’ve bought more than three of these, so I can confidently say it's reliable for its core purpose. However, I have to dock a couple of points for some disappointing details: The USB ports don’t work on any of them. I didn’t buy these just for USB use, but it would’ve been a nice bonus. Still, across multiple units, none of the USB slots function, so I know it's not just a fluke. I didn’t bother returning them since I didn’t need that feature urgently, but it’s definitely frustrating. This thing is also a dust magnet—the surface seems to attract everything in the air, so be ready to clean it frequently if you care about appearance. I also wish the outlets were spaced just a little farther apart. Some bulkier plugs or adapters end up overlapping or blocking neighboring slots. That said, it still does what it’s supposed to: protect my devices and give me plenty of plug space. I’ve seen other reviews mention the same USB issue and tight spacing, so I’m not the only one. If USB ports and extra space between plugs are important to you, you might want to look elsewhere. But for basic surge protection, it works.

It's only been weeks, but this is great so far. I went with APC because I have seen them work well in thunderstorms, hurricanes, and other surge/outage situations with items at work. I think it's safe to say I can trust this going forward. I hope, in the future, more USB outlets will be offered in these power strips (I really wanted a UPS but most only had one or two USB outlets as well, so I'll save up in hopes for better down the line). The green activation light is my only issue. This sounds silly, but it's distractingly bright! I can't dock them points for it, though. You do need to know when it's operating properly, after all, and my placement isn't their problem. I suppose that's just a note for buyers.

I needed a solid surge protector for my 3 pronged devices as well as my USB devices. APC usually produces some of the best surge protectors/APCs on the market. They didn't disappoint with this one. I'm quite satisfied as it fits in nicely and protects my iPad and iPhone.

I live in a house that is a bit older now and has some issues with storms and wires. This was a godsend for my electronics. I purchased two of them because I liked the design so much, and both have worked perfectly. Currently I have a charger, A window AC unit, A TV, and A PS4 all hooked up through these, and I have never had a problem. The added bonus of having two USB ports is also nice for rechargeable gaming controllers.

Bought 1 before, so now I have 2. Excellent with nice spread out ports. Plus the usb ports are nice too for those low watt devices. Definitely recommend

I was looking for a surge protector with a longer cord for my WFH setup. I have two monitors, dock, electric desk, wireless devices and more. With all that plugged in, I still have extra outlets. I used Velcro to adhere it to my desk leg so it raises and lowers with my standing desk. It’s perfect! I’ve since bought two more to use in other areas of my home, like my entertainment center setup.

A great option when looking for a mid-range type surge protector ... it provides an ample amount of surge protection for the money and is made by a topnotch quality manufacturer. Best Buy even matched a significantly lower price that was available and shipped by Amazon on this product the day I purchased it! Highly recommend the product and Best Buy as well!

Love the 11 outlets plus two usb charge ports. The power cable is also a good length. APC is a trusted brand name also. thx

I bought these specifically for my home office as well as the family desktop. I'm able to plug in what I need to and love the USB ports on it. Thanks to that, I was able to eliminate several items that needed to be plugged into the outlets, thus giving me more room for the other things I need plugged in. I've been able to go from having to use multiple outlets to just having this plugged into 1 outlet, and it covers everything! While there has been no outages yet, I have some peace of mind using this.

Not much i can say about it ,i have only had it since late November. We did have a nasty thunderstorm with a lot of lightning and power surges and it did do its job. I love the fact that it has many outlets with plenty of spacing for larger plug in power adapters. I have 7 items plugged in to it currently and room to add more,if need be.
