Helpful for Theater Gear

They also help to reduce noise from the power outlets. The TV we have is sensitive to EMI and once I had the TV, and everything connected to it, on surge suppressors it was much happier. I have not had a lock-up or restart since I added them.

APC is top of the line!

Having said that, this model is NOT sacrificial, meaning that it does not cease to be functional after a surge event. The surge protection ceases but power continues to be supplied. Because of this it is VERY important to inspect the “protection” light to make sure that the surge protector is still protecting.
