After considering a UPS for protection and backup power ( for a non computer use ) I decided to simply go with this APC surge protector. Add a great deal on a portable battery power supply that will give a few hours of power instead of minutes as a UPS does. Only because sudden power down isn't an issue. I feed a 4' plug mold along the back of my desk from this Surge protector. That gives me 16 outlets ( where only one or two items will be drawing power at a time ) all protected. This is to power my hobby HAM, GMRS, CB radio set up. I saved big $$$ and am further ahead this way.

This product was purchased to replace a 6-outlet in-line "surge protector" (I think that is a bit of a stretch for the thing). I could really only use 3 of the receptacles due the sizes of the power adapters. This APC is much better. I currently have 6 things plugged in and there is room for several more. I especially like the USB ports as I don't have to have an additional adapter plugged in any more. I wish there were more USB ports actually. I have 3 APC battery backups in my home. They are are working well and have been for several years. I did have to replace 2 of the 3 batteries since I have had for so long. The usual wear and tear. I would recommend this surge protector and I would purchase it again if I needed an another one.

There are enough outlets for my TV set up. I love the cord swivel option as well. Didn't know it had this perk until I opened and started using the item.

Needed some extra plugs and this works like a charm. Flat plug is nice too since the clearance between my desk and wall is a bit tight. The USB ports are nice and work well too--I have a lot of USB chargeable objects and the onboard USB ports are really nice additional features. The only real complaint is that the cord is a bit short, but I knew that getting this--still wish it was a little longer though. Don't know how it holds up to actually protecting anything and granting the warranty yet... but hopefully I'll never have to find out.

I have always been a fan of APC products. This does not disappoint me. This is the second one of this model I have purchased. It has plenty of outlets. I got this on sale so that makes it even better!!

I work from home and I live in an older home, so not a lot of outlets and a lot of things to plug into outlets. This was the greatest surgebar I have ever purchased! I am able to get all my work devices plugged in as well as my gaming devices and still have room left over!! Only thing I cant accurately review is its ability to tell if its overloaded as my outlets are old and not done right so that part I don't know about but the rest of this product is amazing!!

I have purchased other APC products like power backups as well. They are easy tp use including this surge arrest. Items plug in securely, where this can sometimes be a problem for some other brands. Items including blocks fit well and the lights are clearly marked to designate a problem. I live in area where we lose power, have browns outs and many surges. My high end equipment does fine with APC.

APC has become my goto brand for surge protections as well as battery backup through a UPS. The layout of the power outlets on this surge protector allows for using six large power blocks on the outside in addition to the five regular spaced outlets down the center. There are also 2 USB power providing ports to reduce the number of power adapters required. The APC SurgeArrest has a decent length power cord to place it in a convenient location away from the wall outlet. This placement ability is a nice addition to what is already a very well designed surge protector.

Perfect for everything, for usb, regular plus, and landline phone if you still use one. Convenient for placing on the floor or hanging on the wall. Cord long enough.

The layout makes it easy to plug all your electronics and other items into one location. Some layouts look great but makes it impossible to plug all your items in at once. Love the USB ports.

Works great with plenty of outlets for a laptop and several chargers. USB outlets make it very convenient, not having to locate an adapter.

Great surge protector with 11 outlets that comes with 2 USB ports which is also a plus. This surge also has a rotating power cord , which also gives you more options for placement.

I needed to set up a home office and I had a lot of electronics to plug in. I trust the APC name as I have used many of their products over the last 30 years and they have always performed well.

I think this is the best search for the price you are definitely not prone to surges with this and love the fact that it has two USB ports to charge your iPhone or Apple Watch

I use this surge protector in my kitchen. It has 11 plug in and two USB ports. It works great for all my appliances.
