Fix Battery Drainage Problem

Tablet 6Gen had chronic battery drainage problems. Sought help online from Apple chats, online videos, and friends. Shut off almost every app and feature suggested. Didn't help. Decided to buy the 128 G Tablet in hopes this tablet would hold power more than 2-3 hours duration. I decided to keep the 32 G for myself so I erased and reset to factory settings. Surprise!-battery drainage is now minimal and long lasting????????? 128 G Tablet: Set up 128 G iPad-it's battery is not holding charge! Twice I have erased and manually reset to factory settings with no improvement in battery life! From all my research online, recommended fixes, and my 30 years of experience with computers, IT APPEARS THERE IS A SERIOUS software problem with this 7th Gen Software Version 13.5.1. Too bad "battery" doesn't provide specifics on the source of the drainage? I have been working on this issue every since I got this tablet. It was a gift to my wife. However, this issue has taken the joy out owning an Apple iPad tablet. I cannot understand why so many reviews are so positive? Tried to get help from Apple and Best Buy. Good luck. You are on your own to solve. Buy at your own risk. I doubt this gets posted.

Not a fan

I will say the screen is very nice. Battery life sucks, it's slow to charge and I hate the plug! Especially because it seems like it gets very hot. This is the 3rd and last Apple product I will waste my money on.
