    I purchased this for my current college student. She uses for social networking, streaming music, hulu, etc. She does also use it for some school activities such as email and reading assignments. It is also great for her to be able to use iCloud to open files from her MacBook on her iPad as well as being able to use/sync iMessage.

    I like my new iPad but the battery has to be charged everyday, sometimes more than once. My iPad Air had a battery life of 10 hours when it was new. This does not last nearly that long.
