he iPad is still the best tablet on the market for the price. If you want better features quit being cheap and buy the higher priced models. You can only put so much into a $329 tablet. It already has an amazing screen, chip, gpu. What else do you expect? This iPad will work for 90% of everyone that doesn’t have a laptop. I just got mine and I prefer the Touch ID. The new processor really shows. It’s about 2x as fast on all the tests. You might not need to upgrade if you have the 7th gen though. If you have an older model and want to upgrade, I say do it.

I replaced an older Samsung S2 tablet with the Apple iPad 8th Generation and find the Apple to be a competent replacement. I tried a new Galaxy Tab 6 Lite but did not like the shape which has an aspect ratio more geared to movies than for reading and web surfing; in other words it was taller and skinnier (portrait mode) than the S2 or the new iPad. The iPad also seems a bit quicker with commands. Other than the expected learning curve moving from Android to Apple, my biggest problem is a defective headphone jack. I replaced the first IPad with this problem and the replacement also has a defective jack. More bizarre is that the Samsung Tab 6 Lite I initially purchased ALSO had a bad headphone jack!! I tried 3 different ear buds and a pair of Bose headphones on all 3 tablets with the same result - I even purchased a new pair of Apple EarPods to no avail. In each case the Headphone jacks would not hold the headphone connector tightly causing static and pausing of the audio program. I finally purchased a pair of wireless AirPods which are fabulous but another $105 on sale that I was not expecting to spend. It would seem that Apple, and possibly Samsung, have a supplier issue so I’m not encouraged to try a third time to get a defect-free device.

This was an update replacement for my wife's previous iPad. She's extremely happy with her new model. Bigger, faster capabilities.

I love it!! I can see the letters and it is quick and stays charged. It was very easy to transfer all my information from my old device to the new one.

As the result of an accident, I was forced to move from an iPad Pro to this iPad. While it’s certainly not as speedy as a pro, this tablet does everything I need it to. I always use the game Civilization VI as a test of a tablet’s “power”, and the 2020 iPad runs it without problem. It also has no problems with multitasking - a feature that’s becoming useful in iOS. In short, if you’re looking for a reasonably priced device with enough power to do everyday tasks (web searches, email, etc), but also play the occasional game, this would be an excellent option.

If you already have an apple device such as an Iphone set up is super easy. Great screen size and graphics. Great tablet for any age or tech ability.

I couldn’t decide between this model and the Air. I am a casual user, so I decided to get the higher storage option on this model. I am not disappointed with this product at all. It runs smoothly, and the resolution doesn’t leave me anything to desire. I think I would have liked the edge to edge screen the air offers, however this is a great option for anyone that doesn’t want to break the bank on a tablet. It reminds me a lot of looking a a very large iPhone 8. It offers all the features I was looking for. I am very pleased with my purchase!

This is such a great pad. The visuals are great and it has nice sound. I like the amount of memory and speed is great. I would recommend for anybody.

Best affordable table out there. Got the 128gb ipad and I dont regret. Tablet is big enough to do basic tasks like taking notes and watching videos.

The Apple 10.2 inch iPad is perfect for when we are on the go. It’s small and lightweight but perfect for streaming movies and tv shows anywhere we go.

This iPad runs great. The screen size is excellent and is well worth upgrading from the 6th gen. Colors pop, and it runs very smoothly.

This product has great picture quality. Good size screen. Good amount of memory. I was able to put several movies for my grandson to watch.

This latest version is great! Nice apps, crystal clear graphics, great sound! Runs very fast, and battery life has been amazing so far! I recommend!

More memory is a blessing. Startup left little memory avaliable on my old 16 GB iPad. Actions occur much quicker now. Beautiful picture.

Excellent iPad this 10.2. A little larger than my 9.7 but still very manageable. My 128GB will help me store more pictures, video and other data.

Love my new iPad! Glad I got 128 GB this time. It’s bigger than my old mini, which I really loved, but I’m getting used to the larger size.

I purchased the iPad 8th gen as an upgrade to my kids' iPad mini 4 which they've had for 4+ years (still work great). The bigger size is a plus! The non-laminated screen may be a "downgrade" from the iPad mini but I don't notice it nor does it bother me/us. The screen is bright and the sound from the speakers is clear. Overall a good buy! I actually went and purchased another one a few weeks after purchasing the first iPad 8th gen. Now we have 2!

Great value for the price. Slightly thicker than the Gen2 ipad air it replaces, but the screen is gorgeous and the speed is excellent.
