my new ipad is much faster. holds more GB. 8th generation worth the extra cost.

10.2 size is much better then my 9.7 that I had before, and it's speed is impressive

I bought this iPad for my 13 year old and so far it has not disappointed either one of us. It runs great, she has not had any issues thus far. Has an excellent amount of storage for the price. A month later she purchased the Apple pen. With these two items alone she is able to get all he school assignments done online. As well a dabbling into the world of art. By far this is a great buy, worth every penny.

I love this iPad! I'm an artist who does a lot of digital and traditional work. I needed a tablet that I could travel with along with my sketchbook. This iPad is the perfect size and procreate is a great program to draw with! If you're looking for an alternate to wacom I would recommend the iPad. Also, get the matte/paper like screen protector for a more sketchbook feel.

Being in graduate school taking electronic notes really saves so much time and makes studying a breeze. OneNote saved me and I will never go back to wasting paper. I purchased the Lenovo IdeaPad not even a year ago and 7 months later had a product under warranty that should’ve gotten fixed and never did. I love the iPad AND the pencil works wonderfully with it. I will not take my notes any other way!

works great. It is well built. My daughter uses it with Procreate and could not be happier with the precision, build quality and ease of use. If your artwork needs pressure sensitivity, i would recommend getting the Apple pencil with this, the aftermarket ones are not nearly as good. Some say they have pressure sensitivity, but don't, or are a real pain to set up each time you want to use it. enjoy!

Exactly what you expect from an iPad. Figure about 4 years of good usage. Lol
