They have lasted 5 and 6 years so far. My wife got a newer one a couple of years ago and it died in under 2 years. Let’s hope the gen 8 last as long as my kids old ones have. Otherwise I will be disappointed in these newer gen quality.

The Perfect Gift

The party I gifted it to is a senior citizen so, I worried the set up may be a challenge. The downside to the setup was, when calling the local store for assistance the recording said that service is not available. The recorded information was not customer focused. Luckily the person that received the iPad was able to locate someone that was able to help and they couldn’t be happier with the gift.
